The City of Apopka, in collaboration with First Methodist Church Apopka, and faith-based volunteers, will open a Cold Weather Shelter to assist residents during the upcoming cold weather.

Shelter Details (Dates, Locations, and Times):
• Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7 AM
at First Methodist Church Apopka, 201 S Park Avenue, Apopka
• Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7 AM
at First Methodist Church Apopka, 201 S Park Avenue, Apopka

Please Note: A hot meal will be provided (dinner and breakfast). Pets are not permitted at the shelter.

Accelerators, we’re hosting a Community Food Drop on Friday, February 20 from 8:30AM–1:00PM in our church parking lot, partnering with The Sharing Center to serve up to 300 families.🙏🏽

We need volunteers to help distribute food—if you’re available to serve, please sign up using the link.

Free fresh produce, frozen protein, and pantry staples will be available to the Apopka community and surrounding areas while supplies last.
Please do not arrive earlier than 8:30AM.
