STRONG
DO YOU KNOW WHAT STRONG IS?
My son does. Three and a half years ago he was dealt a life changing blow. Shortly after major heart surgery he experienced a devastating stroke. Before his cerebral event he was a vital, smart, compassionate, leader of men. He had the gift. In his life he had made some unfortunate choices but with maturity his decisions were solid. At one point he said he was going to run for POTUS. I voted for him. After all, a vote for Jim was a vote for Jim, and it made more sense than voting for the two aging, unstable, "leaders." He did not win, but he was a good choice.

His stroke robbed him of the ability to create complete sentences. He struggles to put the right words together. And his right side is weakened. But he is strong. And he has a strong, patient, understanding wife at his side. Together they will put his life back together and his struggles will be a memory.

He would have been a great president and Holly would have been a wonderful first lady.
