Most Musculoskeletal (MSK) cases aren’t purely “acute” - they’re chronic tissue with an acute flare layered on top. That’s why the plan should follow the stage at the same pathology site, not whatever hurts most today.

Here’s the simple 3-stage pathway:

Stage 1: Acute flare → PBM/Laser to calm pain + inflammation, then gentle movement to restore tolerance
Stage 2: Subacute transition → progressive loading leads, PBM only as needed to support exercise volume
Stage 3: Chronic remodeling → when a specific tissue is still the limiter, add targeted shockwave while continuing progressive loading
