My experience has been amazing — the team has taken the time to get to know me not just physically, but personally as well.

As I work to regain my mobility, the therapists have also helped me strengthen my mental well-being. They’ve noticed the toll this injury has taken on me, as well as my determination to return to full strength. Welcome Amiah, our new Doctor of Physical Therapy student from ! We are so excited to have her in the clinic learning and working with us!

Amiah has interest in orthopedic physical therapy and pelvic health physical therapy. In her free time, Amiah enjoys practicing yoga, reading or listening to podcasts, going on nature walks, shopping, and exploring new restaurants in the Kansas City area with her boyfriend, Mark. She also enjoys cheering on the K-State football team with her dad!

“I can’t recommend this clinic enough and will happily drive the 30 minutes every time for such attentive care!

I was worried about finding someone who was aware of and could work well with someone with a connective tissue disorder instead of making something else worse in the process.
Sara was recommended to me by my rheumatologist and she has been amazing — knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly mindful of my EDS. Even as we’re focusing on one specific area, she always takes my overall condition into account and adjusts as needed. They ask your goals for PT, even something as simple as I want to be able to cook dinner for my family by the end of the work day, and make a personalized plan to get you there. Sara is so encouraging and knows just how much to push so I leave each session feeling stronger and more confident in my body. (And chatting about movies, books and our weekends always makes the lunges go by faster!)

I’ve also had the chance to work with the other two PTs, and they’re just as incredible, skilled and caring. The entire team creates such a warm, supportive environment. The front desk staff are always friendly, professional, and make you feel right at home the moment you walk in. If you’re looking for a place where everyone truly cares about your well-being, this is it!”
