2025: A Year of Faith, Farming, and Family 🌿🙌

At My Mustard Seed, we live by a simple but powerful mission: "Take Control of Your Wellness." 👣✨ Looking back at 2025, that wasn't just a motto—it was a movement. From the seeds we planted in our trays to the students we mentored on our farm, every moment was dedicated to helping our community grow stronger and healthier. 🌻
📚 Education: "Each One, Teach One" 🎓✍️
We believe that knowledge is the first step toward wellness. We spent 2025 building our stepping stones:
The Foundations (JAN): We kicked off the year by completing the CAIC certification, ensuring our value-added products meet the highest standards for you.
In the Classroom (MAR): We hit the ground running as instructors for the Intro to Microgreens class at CSM and shared the joy of growing with our friends at Melwood. 🏫🌱
Mentoring the Future (APR & OCT): We were so honored to serve as the Official Host Farm for CSM’s Vertical Farming Program. Welcoming students for two 8-week hands-on practicums was a highlight of our year—watching them learn to grow food in a new way is what it’s all about! 🧬🚜
Outreach: We loved connecting with the QCUMC Senior Ministry, First Baptist Church of Highland Park, and the CBWCC Salute to Excellence. ⛪🙌
🏪 My Mustard Seed Refuge: A Hub for Local Healing 🗝️🍎
In May of 2025, we realized our dream of opening a physical "Refuge." This space was designed for you to Take Control of Your Wellness by accessing the very best local goods. We are so proud of our partner vendors:
Farm Fresh: Swann Farm, Cardinal Creek, Bay Blue Berry Farm, and Berry Daze. 🍓🥬
Protein & Dairy: Stachowski meats, P.A. Bowen Farmstead, and Prosperity Acres. 🧀🥩
Pantry & Treats: Loaves of Faith, Mary’s Kitchen, Dempies pies, Amy’s Awesome Treats, NZEBA Table, Oksana Produce, and Will & Veronica’s honey. 🥖🍯
Wellness & Gifts: Leela’s Goodness, Lovemore Lavender, Great Mother’s Garden, Zenjoy, Cane Collective, The Crystal Fox, Sage & Soul, Stem & Soul, Honey’s Harvest Farm and even The Barking Dog for our furry friends! 🌿🐶

A farm is only as strong as its roots, and our roots are in our community:
Wellness: We centered our minds and bodies with Tai Chi on the lawn and we're excited to add Yoga, Meditation and Sound Healing this year. 🧘♂️🌳
Gatherings: From our first Bee Observation 🐝 Featured Vendor Day 🌱 and Halloween Movie Night 🍿🎃 to our 1st Annual Thanksgiving Fall Festival 🍂🥧.
Holidays: We wrapped up the year with the joy of Pictures with Santa! 🎅📸
On the Road: We loved seeing your faces at the North Beach, Anne Arundel, and Honey’s Harvest Farmers Markets! 🚛💨
✨ Looking Forward: 2026 is Growing Fast! 👣🙏
2025 showed us that when you have faith the size of a mustard seed, there’s no limit to what you can achieve. We have some truly great things in store for this new year and are currently working hard on our 2026 Event Schedule. 🗓️✨
