Little yogis, big fun—our Kids Yoga Series is here for December! 🌈

Through movement, breath, imagination, and play, children will learn to connect with their bodies, build confidence, and find calm—all in a fun, creative environment.

Excited to introduce the newest teacher to YFG!

Meet Amanda:

Earned her RYT 200 certification through the Kriya Yoga Temple in Chicago, IL. With a passion for movement arts and guided by the personal mantra “release and thrive,”, she has spent many years exploring the body’s capacity for balance, strength, and grace. Drawing from her background as a yogi, classical Pilates practitioner, martial artist, and surfer she is passionate about discovering ways to move with greater freedom, understanding, compassion, and joy!

Classes will offer an opportunity to explore personal range of motion, explore the connection between mind, body, and breath, and experience meditation through both movement and stillness.

Join her Tuesdays 6 AM for Breathe, Stretch, & Pose and Thursday 5:30 PM for Classical Yoga.

🪩Student Spotlight: Mckenzie Porterfield 🪩

“Hi! My name is Mckenzie and I’ve lost 22 lbs since being a member of YFG! After having my daughter in July 2025 and gaining over 65 lbs during pregnancy, I weighed 204 lbs on August 20th. My journey with YFG began 3 days later where I was just shy of 2 months postpartum. In just 3 months of participating in Pilates, Yoga Pulse, and a variety of yoga classes I have not only lost weight but gained muscle, confidence, and energy! I am excited to see where the rest of this journey takes me! Yoga For Good is amazing, I would highly recommend!!!”

✨ Have you met Tessa? ✨

After a decade of sporadic practice, Tessa established her yoga routine at twenty weeks pregnant when Yoga For Good opened its doors. Since then, yoga has become an integral part of her life, offering an outlet to develop both physical strength and mental health. Tessa’s personal practice incorporates fluid transitions between asanas, a style attributed to her years as a dancer, and a focus on balancing postures to build heat. Though Tessa enjoys a challenging flow, she knows when to pull back and slow down. Tessa places emphasis on listening to your body and understanding what you need in the moment.
