So I did a thing on Monday, then again on Tuesday.....I kicked ass! Mentally I needed this. I needed to do something for me from me, for myself. Was it hard, damn straight. I was put into a yellow/red belt class. I kept up albeit it was not perfection but life is not perfect. I was told I have a natural round house kick. Im sure I'll feel it in the morning. One hour later I was soaking wet, tired, and starving, but today I kicked ass both mine and that big padded bolster thingy. I have been fighting myself all my life, today I won.

When you have Lupus and the sun was out while sitting on the deck. Tis' the season for sun bumps arms! Mine don't hurt but I do know people that it is very painful. It feels like there are bits of tiny gravel all under my skin. Is a spring, summer and fall thing for me.

Just Another Day

As I lay here once again on this couch,
While everyone else is sleeping.
Hearing the tick tock and quiet house,
Inside me this stealthy wolf is creeping.

We are engaged in a full on war
This stealthy wolf and I.
The medicine that helped is no more,
So here I lay wondering why?

A body full of pain that hates itself
Causes me a many sleepless night.
Too numerous damaged T and B cells
Makes for fatigue, damage, and fright.

So here I lay another sleepless night
Arguing with the wolf begging for a cease fire.
Day after day I continue this fight
You see, stealthy one I am the one not willing to retire.

This Warrior is brave, honest, and true.
I will hold my Warrior feather high to the sky.
A fighter not just for myself, but for you too.
Reach for the sky, hold your feather high.

A call to all Warriors hold up your feathers together as one.

Let me apologize here and now if I have been short or curt with anyone. If I haven't responded right away when you message. For weeks now I have been dealing with Noninfectious Meningitis, it comes along with having Lupus. Although this is only my third time having to deal with it, at least I'm not in the hospital this time and just trying to rest when I can. I know I have snapped at people or been short with my answers. When your head is pounding and you feel like crap you just don't want to do anything or do it quietly while you can.
