❤️ Couples Who Recover Together, Grow Together ❤️

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about flowers and dinner reservations.
It’s about commitment.

And sometimes the most powerful commitment two people can make…
is choosing recovery together.

Yes, married couples can go to rehab together.

At Oxford Treatment Center, our Married Couple’s Program is designed for partners who:
✔️ Are committed to their relationship
✔️ Are both struggling with addiction
✔️ Are both ready to change

Here’s what recovery together can look like:
✨ Individual therapy for personal healing
✨ Dedicated couples therapy to rebuild trust
✨ Tools for healthy communication
✨ Learning how to support each other without enabling
✨ Building a recovery plan for your relationship

Research shows couples who engage in behavioral couples therapy often experience:
❤️ Improved relationship satisfaction
❤️ Increased happiness
❤️ Lower risk of separation
❤️ Greater long-term sobriety

You don’t have to choose between saving your life and saving your marriage.
You can work on both.

This Valentine’s Day, love might look like accountability.
It might look like boundaries.
It might look like picking up the phone together.

If you believe recovery can strengthen relationships, drop a ❤️ below.
If you and your partner are choosing growth, we’re cheering you on.

As COA(Children Of Addiction) Awareness Week comes to a close, we want to keep the light shining on the children and families who live with the impact of addiction, even when no one talks about it.

If you’re breaking generational patterns…
If you’re still healing from them…
If you grew up learning to survive instead of feeling safe…

You are not alone.

❤️ We see you.
❤️ We honor your experience.
❤️ And we believe your story deserves space.

You don’t have to stay silent to protect the past.
Your voice matters. Your healing matters.

Addiction may run in families.
But so can healing.

If this resonates with you, know that support exists. Safe conversations exist. Healing exists.
If you’re comfortable, share a ❤️ below to remind someone they’re not alone.

🎉 We’re proud to announce the promotion of Brendarius Kirkwood to Alumni Coordinator at Oxford Treatment Center!

During his time in our residential program, Brendarius has led art therapy and processing groups focused on emotional awareness, relapse prevention, boundaries, gratitude, and building healthy communication skills. He’s helped clients navigate the stages of change and challenge fear-based thinking, always creating a space that feels safe and empowering.

Now, he’ll be walking alongside our alumni, helping them stay engaged, supported, and thriving long after treatment ends.

Help us celebrate Brendarius by dropping a message below and congratulating him on his new role. 👏

Addiction doesn’t pick a race, zip code, or background.
And recovery shouldn’t either.

During Black History Month, we want to be clear about something that often gets lost in the noise: EVERYONE deserves access to healing, support, and a real chance at recovery. That includes Black individuals, Black families, and Black communities who have too often been underserved or misunderstood in this space.

If this video resonates, it’s not random. It usually means you—or someone you love—has been quietly carrying more than they should have to.

👉 If this matters to you, help us keep the conversation going.
👉 Share this if you believe recovery should have no barriers.

Recovery is possible. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Discipline doesn’t take away freedom. It creates it.

At first, routine can feel restrictive.
Set wake-up times. Scheduled meals. Meetings. Check-ins. Plans.

But in recovery, structure is what frees you.

When your day has a rhythm, your brain doesn’t have to live in survival mode.
Less chaos means fewer triggers.
Fewer decisions mean less overwhelm.
Consistency builds trust in yourself.

Research shows that predictable routines help regulate stress, improve emotional stability, and support long-term recovery. In other words, structure gives your nervous system a break so healing can actually happen.

Freedom lets you
Wake up without dread.
Know what comes next.
Gives you a plan when life gets hard.

💬 What does routine look like in your recovery?
A morning walk? Meetings? Meal prep? Early bedtime?

Your answer might help someone else who’s just starting to believe structure could actually be a gift. ❤️

❤️ This is who Oxford Treatment Center is.

During the most severe parts of Winter Storm Fern, when conditions were hazardous and uncertainty was high, our team stayed!

Oxford staff made the decision to remain on campus, some for multiple nights, to ensure continuity of care and patient safety throughout the storm.

Meals were prepared and delivered.
Medications were carefully managed.
Debris was cleared.
Essential supplies were secured.
Patients were supported around the clock.

All while many were facing their own challenges and concerns at home.

This wasn’t about schedules or job descriptions. These incredible team members showed true commitment, compassion, and responsibility to the patients in our care and to one another.

This is why Oxford is the place people choose to recover. It's the people who make all the difference!

To our Oxford team, we say thank you for showing up when it mattered most. Your dedication made a real difference.

💬 Drop a ❤️ or share a word of thanks for the Oxford team below.
🔁 Share this post to help recognize the people who kept care moving forward during the storm.

🇺🇸 Veterans deserve care that sees the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

At Oxford Treatment Center and across AAC facilities, we often work with Veterans who have high-acuity medical needs, needs that require hands-on, one-on-one care, 24 hours a day.

Large systems like the VA do important work. But for some Veterans, the size and structure of those systems can make individualized care difficult. When care is spread thin, personal attention can be harder to deliver.

That’s where we come in.

At Oxford, we’re able to provide dedicated, individualized support—including one-on-one nursing care—so Veterans get exactly what they need, when they need it. Not pulled in multiple directions. Not lost in the system.

And Veterans tell us the difference matters.

🎥 Watch this video to hear how individualized care can change the treatment experience for Veterans.

❤️ Follow our page to learn more about how we support Veterans in recovery and why personalized care makes all the difference.

➡️ And support doesn’t stop after treatment.
Tonight at 6:00 PM Central, we’re hosting AAC Mission Forward (link in the comments), a Veteran-focused recovery discussion designed to provide connection, tools, and community for Veterans in recovery.
This is not an AA meeting; it’s a space for Veterans to connect, share, and move forward together.

🔁 Share this to help Veterans and families know their options.

While the weather has improved after Winter Storm Fern, we know the impact hasn’t disappeared for everyone here in Mississippi.

Some businesses and college campuses remain closed. Some people are still without power or water. Debris removal is ongoing. And for many, the emotional weight of all of it still lingers.

If you’re feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or just tired, you are not alone. A community of support exists at your fingertips.

For Oxford Treatment Center alumni—and all AAC alumni—the AAC Together app is ALWAYS here for you.
💛 Stay connected with people who understand
💛 Attend virtual discussions, meetings, and events
💛 Find encouragement, inspiration, and reminders every day

One local alum, who recently joined, shared that the app helped him through a time when he felt alone and stuck, reminding him just how important a support network can be, especially in moments like these.

If you’re an alum, we invite you to join us on the AAC Together app and lean into community. We’re here with you.
