If you're already battling with a poor relationship with food, consider taking a time-out from tracking it for a bit.

If you know how to balance a checking account, then you know how to eat things in moderation. You know how to give your kids a treat but only after eating something healthy right.

Stop obsessing about food. There's a better way.

Start your day with a smoothie full of greens and fruit. You'll get 3 of your 7 recommended serving for the day in your first meal of the day. Have a salad later and some veggies for dinner. Track it like that and you'll free yourself from looking at carbs as "weight gain".

After a 2 year $h*t show, people averaged 40 pounds of weight gain. Read that again.

😲 I came across this old picture from when I was competing, and this one was at a show called with fitness routines and figure, plus and obstacle course.

The amount of training I did was so outrageous, but if I just knew more about nutrition!

On the left, 15 yrs ago:
-Breakfast: 3/4c Oatmeal with 1/2 banana
-lunch: salad greens with dry tuna
-dinner: tilapia with broccoli

On the right:
-breakfast: smoothie with almond milk, greens, banana, strawberry, almond butter and vegan protein powder
-lunch: homemade 8 inch g-free, goat cheese pizza
-roasted chicken and brussels with sweet potato mash and a 1/2 glass prosecco

I'm on week 7 of 10, and I feel so strong!

This phase is for muscle building and I feel like I did when I was competing. It feels AMAZING.

I DON'T FEEL BULKY. I feel tighter in my skin.

I'm eating 90% clean and 10% fair. The key: I eat cheat foods that are still fairly low inflammatory.

I'm not going to get to 10% body fat because it's not healthy nor do I want to look like that. But I'm at 18 right now and I don't feel like I'm even trying!

More updates to come.
