Enterprise business owners will soon receive 2026 business license renewal cards in the mail, with renewals due by Feb. 15, 2026. 📨

A City of Enterprise, Ala. business license is required for anyone conducting business, trade, profession or home occupation within the city limits or police jurisdiction of Enterprise. This includes making repairs, contracting, selling goods, providing services or serving as a vendor at a special event.

The renewal period begins Jan. 2, 2026, and runs through Feb. 15, 2026. After Feb. 15, a 15% penalty will be applied to all fees, including issuance fees. After March 15, an additional 15% penalty will be applied, for a total penalty of 30%. Insurance companies have separate renewal deadlines of March 1 and April 1.

Enterprise City Hall will be closed Jan. 1, 2026, for the New Year’s holiday and will reopen Jan. 2 at 7:30 a.m.

Business owners who renew in person are advised that following recent renovations to City Hall, the Revenue Department is now located on the left side of the front entrance, inside the lobby, as visitors face the building.
