Congratulations to local UCLA alum Alissa Carnazzo and her husband Anthony for their restaurant being added to this year's California Michelin Guide! Alissa was also recognized as a recipient of a 2024 Bruin Business 100 award which recognizes exceptional UCLA Alumni entrepreneurs. It is a great restaurant for any meal of the day.

On Wednesday, the Michelin Guide California added 15 new restaurants, including one Monterey County restaurant.

Thank you Jillian Hill for hosting a Dinner for 12 Strangers here in Monterey (with the Monterey Bay in the background)!

The Dinner with 12 Strangers is a long running UCLA tradition where someone hosts a meal for students and alumni to gather wherever they may be to share in the UCLA community. It happens in Feb or March of each year and you can keep an eye out on the alumni association website for sign ups for a local dinner in your area.

Three-and-a-half seconds before the final buzzer sounded Sunday, coach Mick Cronin was well on his way to congratulating the entire Buckeye roster. He embraced his counterpart, coach Jake Diebler, and led the Bruins in line to commend each player that had stepped foot in Pauley Pavilion.
