Save the Body volume 2. Exercises to offset the prolonged stress of sitting. Focus on Mid/Upper back {Thoracic spine} and its impact on the shoulders. This is medium-high level mobility work, only perform if you aren’t on any precautions or have a serious injury.

We are doing IGLive sessions page focusing on how to counterbalance prolonged sitting. Try these 5 exercises that target hamstrings, hip flexors and lower back. Take a few minutes every hour to change positions, do this routine a few times per day, move your body some and stay loose. Life is too short to spend it sitting on you A$$.

May 1st we started a 15 day challenge to do a body weight exercise corresponding with the date. So May 1- 1 rep. May 2- 2 reps, then 1 rep. May 3- 3 reps, 2 reps, 1 rep.....and so forth until May 15th. So in this video I did squats and pushups for 15-14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1...total of 120 Reps. So anyone who participated completed 680 Total area. That’s pretty rad! I’m a fan of body weight exercises daily, so hopefully this motivates you to do more pushups, squats, PullUps, lunges, or anything else to keep your body moving. Consider it like taking your daily Vitamin.

We’re past the halfway mark of the day challenge. Day 8 means you have 36 reps total. If you start to break form or are unable to complete the circuit consecutively, feel free to break up the sets. For example do 8, 7, 6 in the morning 5,4,3,2,1 later in the day. Also have a partner join in, its more fun working out together. Here’s joining me during our bike ride today.

As if there aren’t enough fitness challenges floating around these days, here’s Another One. This is quick and easy to do, plus I’m offering free virtual PT consultations to anyone who completes all 15days. Here’s how it works:
Day 1- 1 rep.
Day 2- 2 reps, 1 rep.
Day 3- 3 reps, 2 reps, 1 rep.
Continue at this daily pace to May 15th. Choose a bodyweight exercise or multiple exercises. I’m doing both squats and push-ups, you could also do bridges, PullUps, step ups, run the number of miles, etc. I’ll post to my stories daily to hold myself accountable, have fun!!!

On this day last year we shot a music video in Portland for the song “90 Days” with and featuring . directed, and developed the concept, took care of hair/makeup, and I did a bunch of random stuff like cooking eggs, changing camera lenses, and driving the car with Remi filming. It was guerilla style and an awesome experience so I took this BTS pic.

I like checking to see where I was this date last year. Turns out we had a dope gym in Vancouver and I did one of my favorite barbell complexes.

🔷Front Squat
🔷Overhead Press
🔷Bent Over Row
💊 Perform each exercise in a circuit, 4-6 reps of each without putting the bar down.
