🙌🏻 PRAISE REPORT 🙌🏻
Today Jen had her follow-up with her oncologist to review the PET scan she had done this past Friday. According to him, she is officially cancer free! 🙌🏻 He wants to repeat the PET scan in a few months just to be certain, but y’all… We asked God to deliver her from this disease and He did! 🙌🏻 With that being said, due to the issues she is having with the H. Pylori, her oncologist is having her admitted to the hospital so she can receive fluids and IV antibiotics. We want to thank all of you who have kept her in your prayers, those of you who have messaged, called and came to visit… You have no idea what it means to us. God is so, SO good! 🙌🏻

Mornin’ y’all…. Know we haven’t posted in a while and sorry for that but….hands have been so full lately 🥺…. Reaching out this morning not only for an update but for as many of you as I can get for prayers as our girl isn’t doing well at all 😢….she hasn’t been able to physically eat actual food not just in weeks but for a few months now 😢….she’s literally been staying alive on just the fat from her body which is almost gone now….she literally vomits constantly even if she has nothing to vomit! She drinks water and shortly afterwards it eventually comes back up…..she’s to the point her kidneys barely work bc there’s nothing for them to do! We have to go to Ashland quit often to get fluids bc of dehydration! Last weight as of Saturday was 126😢….family….fb family and friends….if you’re out there REACH OUT to her in some way please 😢😔 She scared, terrified and has a small circle (but we’re mighty) around her but we need more of you we need so much more strength, love and prayers right now🥺….My Jen’s Journey Warriors we need you now more than we’ve ever needed you throughout this whole journey as we’re not getting answers as to why my child is so sick😢….this is what the GI Dr did on her way out the door on Tuesday 🤷‍♀️ and said I saw nothing wrong in your stomach to support your results of the scope….And literally walked out the freakin door!!!! Never in my life have I ever seen or heard of such behavior from a medical professional in my life😢….my child asks me every day momma am I gonna die😢 devastates me to my core! This morning she says momma I’m scared I’m gonna die of starvation 😢….yall I feel broken as a momma as I have a few wonderful and amazing women holding me up and together right now bc I just don’t know how to get through most days without them 😔 my bestest friend ever who holds my hand on the daily even though she lives over 5 hours away 🥹♥️♥️♥️ and comes to me at the drop of a hat if I truly need her and….my little sister who’s here on the daily to check in and if she physically can’t she video calls me ….Ladies you’re truly the glue holding me together right now and Kendra I know you don’t know what to do or how to feel most days but we will all get through this together as one🥹♥️….Ladies I can’t express in words what your love and support means to me or how I’d get through this without you! …..And my family, fb family and friends….please at some point today would you please whisper a prayer for my girl that we can go to our family Dr tomorrow and God will direct her in the right direction to help my girl get on the road to recovery from this horrible journey 😢 and the Dr will find Jen a way to get nourishment to her frail body and I get my girl back 😔…..Sorry for such a long post🥺….ty you all in advance ♥️♥️♥️ ♥️

‼️UPDATE‼️ They successfully completed the TEE. Her cardiologist said that not only does she have a hole in her heart, it’s one of the biggest ones he’s seen in his career. (Most of the people born with these holes never have any trouble with them. They typically heal on their own a short time after birth.) With that being said, she will definitely have to have a procedure to close it. He said that he is fine with her going home today with the heart monitor. So that’s where we’re at with cardiology. Onto the next department, GI. Following a barium swallow test on Friday, they suspect she has a webbed esophagus. This was more than likely a result of the radiation and the culprit behind the difficulty she’s had with swallowing. As of right now it is only suspected, they will have to perform an endoscopy to confirm it. Our hope is that while they have the scope in her, they can go a little further down and find out why she’s having so much trouble keeping food down. If the webbed esophagus is confirmed, they will more than likely perform an esophageal dilation procedure to clear the webbed tissue. We will continue to update as we find out more. Hey hey my Warriors♥️….I know it’s been a long minute since we’ve posted anything or updates and I’m sorry 🥺….I’ve really had my hand full with life and we’ve really been struggling with Jen’s recovery and care…..She’s fell below 150lbs now😢 as her struggle to eat continues but she’s landed in the hospital again as of Saturday night and is currently still there undergoing several tests….she landed in the hospital bc we suspected she was having a stroke 😢 and yes she in fact had a small one by the grace of God it wasn’t major! She isn’t out of the woods yet bc she has several tests to determine what caused it as to what will happen next…..she will be released wearing a heart monitor for 30 days and that’s gonna be determining whether or not she will be having an invasive surgery to repair a small hole that was discovered in her heart….that caused a blood clot to travel to her brain and cause her stroke 😢…..I’m doing this post with a migraine 😔 and I hope I’m getting this right Jen🤦‍♀️….Kendra jump in and correct me 🤣….Also…..today she’s having an upper GI test for her esophagus and stomach….she can’t swallow! So she can’t eat and if she’s lucky to swallow something and it goes down she more often then not it comes back up! She was told that the radiation has quite possibly damaged her esophagus 😔So…..Please Please Please we need our Warriors more then ever right now 😢….Our girl is so tired and weak and she needs our strength to give her strength 😢…..please reach out to her and let her know that you’ve got her 🥺…..Please 😔♥️♥️♥️ ♥️♥️♥️y have tonty

Hey y’all 🥺…..Callin all my prayer warriors ♥️….our girl is still very sick 😢 and I need your prayers to help her find the strength to fight this crap off!!! Had to take her to ER this morning bc she’s been unable to hold even her water or gator aid down 😔…..So please join me and form a prayer chain to get my girl back on her feet 🥺♥️♥️♥️ ♥️🦋

Hey y’all… Long time no update, we know. But here’s this… Jen has officially completed all 35 rounds of radiation and all 7 chemo treatments 🥳 She is scheduled for a pet scan 3 months from now so the doctors can see if they got it all. The feeding tube is coming out tomorrow, however the picc line may have to stay in place for a while. Her potassium and magnesium levels aren’t staying where the doctors want them to be so she is still having to travel back and forth to and from Ashland for infusions. As always, we appreciate all the love, prayers and support that you guys have given us on this journey and we hope you continue to remember us ❤️

Hey y’all…I need my prayer warriors bc my Warrior is back in the hospital again 🥺😔….this final phase of her journey is so hard on her poor body y’all 😔…the radiation is taking a very hard toll on her body and she needs each and every one of us to continue to pray and be her strength to carry her through this so please say a special prayer for and for those of us who are trying to hold her up literally and carry her across the finish line 🥺♥️♥️♥️ ♥️♥️♥️

Well she did it🥹♥️ she made it through her last chemo treatment today and was able to ring the bell!! But….she has one more to ring! She has to finish her Radiation treatments and pass her PETT scan to ring that one in 3 months! But this Warrior will ring that Bell too! She also has to have mor infusions as the chemo is depleting her levels and causing severe dehydration unfortunately 🥺 But….she’s gonna beat cancers Ass bc she’s our Warrior and has fought one hell of a fight in such a short time and I’m beyond being one proud momma🥹♥️♥️♥️….Please continue to pray for my girl and let’s get her to the other side of this! ♥️♥️♥️

Mornin’ y’all….My girls back in the hospital again 😢…please keep her and our family in your prayers as we continue her Journey 🥺♥️…I know this has been so difficult for her but it’s been even more difficult for me as her momma bc I am completely helpless to take away her pain and suffering and all I want to do is make her whole again 😔….ty all ♥️ ♥️♥️♥️

Hey guys, update on our Jen. She was released from the hospital on Tuesday and has been home since. Her platelets, wbc and rbc count, potassium, sugar and a few other levels aren’t exactly where we’d like them to be - but there wasn’t much else they could do at the hospital to help. They said her body would have to regenerate a lot of those things on it’s own and we’re praying it does. She hasn’t been able to do any of her scheduled radiation treatments this week and that has been a small set-back, but we can still definitely notice shrinkage in the mass 🙌🏻 She is going to attempt her scheduled chemo treatment today, but if her counts are still too low for it, at least they will do labs and we can see where her counts are at now. We’re trying to keep a watch on her sugar at home and she’s currently taking potassium to try to get that back up to where it needs to be. As always, keep our warrior in your prayers along with the doctors, nurses and the rest of the medical staff that is taking care of her. Thank you ❤️ 🤍

Mornin y’all….I don’t have all the details yet about what all is going on on with my girl yet but I can tell you is that my girl is sick🥺…she was very dehydrated and since getting the IV fluids that part of this is much better….her platelets have gone down instead of up😔 from 79 to 66…y’all she can’t get her infusion this week if this continues to decline instead of increase! Her labs as of last night were either on the high side or the low but none were normal 😔…she left here with a fever…yall if you believe in the power of prayer this family needs it 🥺 bc this momma’s weary right now but….I’ll never give up trust that …but I need a little boost…my babies are my entire world no matter how old they are and how much they tell me “I got this “ I’ll always have them!… ♥️ I’ll post an update later after A Dr does their rounds this morning… ♥️♥️♥️
