Our residents and staff had a blast at our Golden Oldies Social Series! They enjoyed classic songs from the 60s and 70s and showed off their dance moves on the floor! Big thank you to musician, Winfield Marine for providing the entertainment. Residents didnt want him to stop! Also a thank you to Sandy and Maggie from Mobile Bilingual Notary Republic for providing the gift for our raffle. And finally a thank you to Care Rite and our kitchen staff for providing the tasty snacks and drinks.

Great turnout today for Patricia's book signing! She started with a presentation explaining her book and what inspired her to write it. Afterwards, she sold all the books she brought with her and the crowd lined up to get it signed. Congratulations to Patricia for this amazing accomplishment!

We recently had a visit from Tika! She is an adorable 4 month old service dog who loves hugs, pets, and kisses. She was so happy and excited to visit with everyone and get pictures. Residents absolutely adored her and they can not wait to see her again.

To celebrate the Olympic winter games this year, we hosted our own set of games! Basketball Shooting, Golf, and football toss were among the games played and our residents had a blast! They competed for Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals. The scoring came close a few times, and it got competitive. Congrats to the winners!

We hope everyone had a fun Super Bowl Sunday! Our residents sure did! We hosted a Super Bowl Party in the dining room where everyone could watch it together and cheer on their teams. The kitchen staff did a great job making an assortment of different foods to enjoy during the game. There were people cheering, clapping, and at times booing at the tv. They had a great time and many requested to do it again next year!

Shoutout to Rancho Village’s Maintenance Technician, Jose! This past weekend he hosted an ice cream and painting social with our residents. He did did a step by step walkthrough with our them on how to create this beautiful painting of the night sky. He was such a great teacher and all paintings turned out wonderfully!
