We recently had a visit from Tika! She is an adorable 4 month old service dog who loves hugs, pets, and kisses. She was so happy and excited to visit with everyone and get pictures. Residents absolutely adored her and they can not wait to see her again.

Our community earned a 2026 Best of Senior Living Award! This honor is determined solely by reviews our residents and their family members left through A Place for Mom.

We’re so grateful for both the employees and residents who make our community an amazing place to call home.

To celebrate the Olympic winter games this year, we hosted our own set of games! Basketball Shooting, Golf, and football toss were among the games played and our residents had a blast! They competed for Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals. The scoring came close a few times, and it got competitive. Congrats to the winners!

We hope everyone had a fun Super Bowl Sunday! Our residents sure did! We hosted a Super Bowl Party in the dining room where everyone could watch it together and cheer on their teams. The kitchen staff did a great job making an assortment of different foods to enjoy during the game. There were people cheering, clapping, and at times booing at the tv. They had a great time and many requested to do it again next year!

Every Saturday we gather in the Atrium and play Pictionary. It’s one of our more popular games because it always results in a lot of laughs at trying to guess the drawing. Try to guess some of these!

Shoutout to Rancho Village’s Maintenance Technician, Jose! This past weekend he hosted an ice cream and painting social with our residents. He did did a step by step walkthrough with our them on how to create this beautiful painting of the night sky. He was such a great teacher and all paintings turned out wonderfully!

A special thank you to Grammy Award Winning Violinist Alyson Montez for coming to perform for our residents yesterday. She performed a beautiful sounding assortment of both classic and modern hits. Our residents absolutely enjoyed the show and would not stop praising her. They are already requesting to have her come back!

We are very excited and proud to announce that one of our residents, Patricia Skoog, has been working on a book for a few years and is now published and available to buy on Amazon! She has been working so hard at this and getting a book published at this stage in her life is an extraordinary accomplishment. Destroyed and Survived is a memoir about her life, the hardships she has faced and how she has been able to heal from it. We are so proud of her and we look forward to scheduling a book signing in the future!

Happy New Year from all of us at Rancho Village! We rang in 2026 last night with a 70s disco party! Everyone showed off their dance moves and some even dressed up in disco attire! We ended the night with a countdown and shot off confetti as we all yelled “Happy New Year!”Special thanks to Ares Entertainment for providing the music, and our kitchen staff for the snacks and drinks! Also a huge thank you to our residents and staff for making 2025 a fun year. Here’s to 2026!

Happy Holidays from all of us here at Rancho Village! We hope everyone had as special of a celebration as our residents did today. Many of them had their friends and families come in to enjoy holiday music and a special lunch prepared by our kitchen staff Beef Pot Roast was on the menu and it was delicious!
