Two more weeks and we leave for Key campaign in Juneau. Eric is ready to discuss not wanting to ever have to be changed on a bathroom floor again. We hope to meet with the sponsor of HB 141 about safe changing tables requirements. Eric is looking forward to it.

Did you know that Homer Airport has a height adjustable adult changing table? This happened because someone advocated. It wasn’t me so I take no credit. I’m just happy to share the information.
Fairbanks airport has asked for input for improvements and I will share the information if anyone is interested. I submitted my thoughts on why they should include a height adjustable adult changing table and also expressed that a ceiling lift would be beneficial also.
I was encouraged when they emailed a response that they are working to include this in near future. Possibly to have it included and finished by 2027. It might seem like a long time, but I’m excited that they are making progress and they appear to be listening to this need.
