The Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA) established the following regulatory procedures for such claims for dietary supplements:

Structure/function claims describe the role of a nutrient or dietary ingredient intended to affect normal structure or function in humans, for example, ‘calcium builds strong bones.’ Also, they may characterize the means by which a nutrient or dietary ingredient acts to maintain such structure or function, for example, ‘antioxidants maintain cell integrity.’

While we are very grateful for any user feedback, product claims by Facebook community members must adhere to these rules by the FDA. Standard Process cannot allow comments claiming that diseases are treated, cured or prevented by supplements. For example, comments like “I took your product all winter and never caught a cold” are not FDA compliant and do not represent the views of Standard Process. ☃️ We’re grateful for more than a foot of snow that’s settled across our fields! With nighttime temperatures dipping to -3°F, this snowy layer isn’t just pretty, it’s protective.

Our cover crops, busy building soil health, are insulated by the snow, shielding delicate roots from harsh freezes. Beyond protection, the snow provides much-needed moisture as it melts in the spring and releases nitrogen that nourishes the soil for next season’s crops.

Sometimes the quietest moments, like fields under snow, are when nature is doing some of the hardest work. ❄️
