Update day 124: Let the storms rage😥
We’re back 😥 Jett woke up with a swollen painful eye. So we headed over to Stanford to meet with our oncology team. They took blood and quickly got us back into a room. Jett’s white blood cell counts were at 0 (they should be 1000 or more). Which means the chemo is doing its job but Jett is now nutrapenic and unable to fight any infections. Every little thing right now is a big deal. So, since Lucille Packard is full we were transported to the adult Stanford side ER to get antibiotics in Jett STAT. We waited in a private room in the ER for 6.5 hours and we finally got a room in Lucille Packard! Thank you Jesus! 🙏🏻 (there were talks of transporting us to another hospital via ambulance the hospital is so full, sigh). So we are hunkered in our room for the night waiting for a chest x ray and a CT scan of Jett’s eye. Jett is over everyone poking him. I want to cry several times a day... but for some crazy reason I power through. There really is no time to breakdown. I know God will get us through this and I am hopeful he will give me peace and understanding🙏🏻💙
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ. - Philippians 4:17
