This very athletic patient was bothered by gynecomastia (male breast enlargement). I removed the excess tissue through incisions in the areolas. Scars shown are approximately 3 months postoperative and are expected to continue to fade with time. Photos posted with this patient’s consent.

This lovely patient dealt with several years of back, neck and shoulder pain from her large breasts. She underwent a breast reduction and is feeling much better! 3 month postop result is shown. Her scars will continue to fade over the next several months. Posted with her permission.

It’s a great privilege to work with other surgeons like Dr. Chad Barnes, a surgical oncologist. Dr. Barnes and the rest of the team at the NM Cancer Center in Orland Park provide comprehensive treatment for melanoma, sarcoma and other skin and soft tissue tumors. I’m often asked to help close the wounds left after the tumor has been taken out. I find it very rewarding to help patients get through their cancer journey and back to what they enjoy doing most!
