Sometimes the most encouraging moments happen when someone decides not to look away.
I’ve spoken with families recently who are watching someone they love struggle with addiction and feeling unsure how to help. I’ve also spoken with employers who care deeply about an employee and want to support them but aren’t sure what the right step is.
The truth is, support doesn’t have to start with having all the answers. It starts with care, compassion, and a willingness to begin the conversation.
At Love Prevails Intervention Services, I work alongside families and organizations to help them understand what intervention and support can look like, how to approach someone with empathy, set healthy boundaries, and guide people toward the help they need.
Addiction can make people feel very alone, but support reminds them they are not.
If you’re watching someone struggle and wondering what to do next, please know there are ways forward and people who care.
