I recently had the opportunity to visit Seasons Recovery Center, and it was such a powerful reminder of the level of care and dedication that exists in the recovery community.

Being in spaces like that always brings me back to the families I speak with every day many of whom are doing everything they can to help someone they love, but still feel unsure of what to do next.

One question I hear often is:
“How do we know if we need an interventionist?”

Every situation is different, but some common signs I see are:
• Conversations keep turning into arguments or being avoided
• A loved one has been to treatment before but continues to struggle
• There are growing concerns around safety, health, or stability
• Families feel stuck between helping and not wanting to make things worse

At Love Prevails Intervention Services, my role is to help families slow things down, understand their options, and move forward with clarity and support, without judgment or pressure.

If you’ve been wondering whether it’s time to reach out, that question alone is often worth exploring.

It’s Not About Forcing Change, It’s About Creating Connection

When someone you love is struggling with drugs or alcohol, it can feel overwhelming… confusing… even hopeless at times.

But intervention isn’t about forcing someone into treatment, it’s about meeting them with compassion, understanding, and a plan that actually works. At Love Prevails, I focus on building real connection, because that’s where change begins.

-When people feel seen and supported, walls come down.
-Conversations open up.
-And the door to treatment becomes possible.

If you’re watching someone you love struggle and don’t know what to do next, please don’t wait.

Reach out, I will help guide you through the next step.

And if you know a family who needs support right now, please share this or pass along my information.

Because love truly does prevail.

I get asked this question a lot:
“What’s the difference between an interventionist and a therapist?”

It’s a really important question because both roles matter, but they help in different ways.

A therapist works with individuals over time to help them process emotions, build coping skills, and support long-term healing.

An interventionist steps in when things feel overwhelming, stuck, or urgent. When families don’t know what to say, what to do, or how to help without making things worse, that’s where I come in.

At Love Prevails Intervention Services, I help families:
• Understand what their loved one is going through
• Prepare for difficult conversations
• Explore treatment and support options
• Create a plan when things feel uncertain

It’s not about replacing therapy, it’s about helping people get to a place where real support can begin.

If you’ve ever felt stuck or unsure how to help someone you love, please know there are people who can walk alongside you through it.

Sometimes the hardest part of watching someone struggle with addiction is simply not knowing what to do next.

I’ve spoken with families recently who care deeply about someone in their life but feel stuck between wanting to help and not wanting to push that person further away. I’ve also heard from employers who are worried about an employee and want to support them, but aren’t sure where to begin.

The good news is that support doesn’t have to start with confrontation or having all the answers. Often it begins with understanding, compassion, and learning what healthy next steps can look like.

Through Love Prevails Intervention Services, I work with families and organizations to help them navigate these difficult moments with clarity and care, helping people move from fear and uncertainty toward support and hope.

If you’re watching someone you love struggle, please remember this: you’re not alone, and there are people who want to help you walk through it.

Sometimes the most encouraging moments happen when someone decides not to look away.

I’ve spoken with families recently who are watching someone they love struggle with addiction and feeling unsure how to help. I’ve also spoken with employers who care deeply about an employee and want to support them but aren’t sure what the right step is.

The truth is, support doesn’t have to start with having all the answers. It starts with care, compassion, and a willingness to begin the conversation.

At Love Prevails Intervention Services, I work alongside families and organizations to help them understand what intervention and support can look like, how to approach someone with empathy, set healthy boundaries, and guide people toward the help they need.

Addiction can make people feel very alone, but support reminds them they are not.

If you’re watching someone struggle and wondering what to do next, please know there are ways forward and people who care.

Sometimes it shows up at work… sometimes at home… and sometimes in ways we don’t fully understand. But behind it all is someone who needs help and people who care deeply about them.

If you’re watching someone you love struggle, please know you don’t have to figure this out alone. There is help. There is hope.

A Beautiful Reminder of Hope

Yesterday, I was part of a successful intervention for a gentleman whose family showed so much love and courage. These moments are never easy, but they are so powerful.

Watching a family come together, take that hard step, and open the door to treatment is something I never take for granted. This is where change begins.

If you’re worried about someone you love and don’t know what to do next, please know you don’t have to figure it out alone. There is help.

There is hope.

And love truly does prevail. 💙

Received a call from a frantic mom on Friday. She was terrified her son would die from alcoholism. We worked feverishly Saturday to organize an intervention and today I had the pleasure of driving him to rehab.

God is so good and now his mom, wife, and kids get a chance to have him back.

If you were somebody you love is struggling with addiction. Please reach out. I can help!
