I truly love being a Beauty Industry girly 💕

This career has afforded me such a fulfilling life. I get to service clients who love me & help them build their confidence & educate them on how to care for their skin & health.

I’ve been blessed to employ & educate my family & my direct community. I built an award winning beauty brand from the ground up, blood, sweat & tears, my own money 🫠. Created a product line from my hearts that delivers RESULTS to my clientele. Run two salons, one a store front on a major street & one in the place I genuinely call home. 🥹

I’ve become a mentor to my peers in the beauty field, someone whose name caries value when spoken, someone people think of when they are looking for guidance in their business. 🤞🏿 Invited into & creating rooms that heartfelt & result driven.

Like sometimes I truly have to remind myself that in this 16 years as an esthetician, I have LIVED. I’ve been blessed to truly find the career of my dreams. I wake up with gratitude in my heart daily!! For my clients, for my beauty industry family & for my life.

Boss Moves, Boss Things, BOSS WOMEN!!

I didn’t get many photos, our rental car caught a flat on the way to the awards show 😭 drove all the way from Dena the day before just to get a damn flat on the way to the show 🫠 but we made it & we got the win! So to god be the glory & that’s just that on that!

Still on a high, still grateful to have been apart of the movement. Still sooo blessed to know my hard work is NOTICED & FELT!

was sooo BaY Area & I very much loved it! The bay is filled with creative, ambitious, beautiful people & im glad this event showcased just that.

The Boss Moved Awards was soo great. The Bay was outside & GIVING BLACK WEALTH! 🤏🏾This was such an amazing experience to be apart of. I was grateful to be in the building & HUMBLED to have won BEST BEAUTY SALON! 🫶🏾

Y’all was really out here voting for YA GIRL & !! 🥹🥹 we work hard to deliver quality service & y’all HAD OUR BACK! A level of validation that I didn’t know I needed!!

I’ve been GOING HARD in this industry close to 16 years at this point & it’s crazy how these will always ring true! 🤷🏾‍♀️ even if we don’t want them to be.

Beauty Bosses, y’all know the vibes. Lol

More credentials.
More validation.
More confidence.

But here’s what I’ve learned after years in this industry:

Confidence usually comes after the decision, not before it.

Expansion is uncomfortable.
Leadership is uncomfortable.
Growth is uncomfortable.
