INSOMNIA CHALLENGE

Step 1: Choose a book (something inspiring instead of extremely exciting is best)
Step 2: Put your phone to bed in another room 2 hours before you want to be asleep (also, no more fluids!!!)
Step 3: Read your book until you feel sleepy and enjoy!
Repeat for 2 weeks and reap the rewards!

Protip: set up 2 sound machines on low in different parts of the room to create a fuzzy sound blanket (air purifiers work too!)

Send to a friend or family member who you know needs some support with this challenge!

People often ask - how does acupuncture work? How does cupping work?

Well, there are many theories.

But, on the most basic level of understanding, when you stimulate the body to heal, it WANTS TO HEAL.

Knowing how to do that is an art and a science, however, YOUR BODY does the work. Your body already has everything it needs to regulate, harmonize and heal.

A blank space, yours to fill.

Our practitioners are trained in whole health care - one of the main differences between Eastern and Western Medicine. Here we focus on prevention and catching disease early. Through supporting the body's various systems (digestive, immunity, reproductive and so much more) alone and together, the body does what it does best - heal! In the right environment and with the right support, anything is possible.

Come on in and tell us what's up.

We are passionate about navigating complex health issues and pain.

Shenki.
My absolute darling angel and the most patient, bestest companion.

I cherish each moment you're able to run after a stick, every day we're able to love our zero-gradient walks to Little Flower Park- your favorite, and greet all your many human and pup friends ❤️

You've always loved eating your sticks whole (hook line and sinker) but who would've known you loved baby spinach and could devour bowls of it!

I love you eternally 🐾

😖 Constantly running to the bathroom? Waking up multiple times a night to p*e? Leaking at the most inopportune times?

Frequent urination.
Urgency.
Weak stream.
Bladder infections that keep coming back.
Incontinence when you laugh, cough, or sneeze.

These aren't just annoying, they're signs that your Bladder and Kidney systems need support. Sadly, so many of these symptoms have become normalized as more and more women accept them as their fate.

Acupuncture helps by:
● Strengthening the Kidney and Bladder systems
● Reducing inflammation and urgency
● Supporting pelvic floor function
● Addressing chronic infections at the root

You shouldn't have to plan your life around bathroom access. Let's fix this. Call us to set up a free consult - I'm sure you have questions!

What does Acupuncture feel like? Does it hurt?

This is one of the most common questions we hear, and a natural one! The honest answer is that acupuncture is surprisingly gentle. Acupuncture needles are extremely thin (about the width of a hair) and solid, not hollow like injection needles. In fact, you can fit 30(!) acupuncture needles into one blood drawing needle!

Most people feel little to nothing as they’re placed. When you do feel something, it’s usually subtle: a light pinch, warmth, a spreading or heavy sensation, or a soft ache that quickly settles. Almost like someone is applying light pressure. Many patients are surprised by how calm and grounded they feel once the needles are in... chances of taking a nap are high!

It’s very common to feel deeply relaxed, floaty, or even fall asleep during a session. If you’re needle-averse or sensitive, that’s okay too, we adjust technique, depth, and point selection so the experience feels safe and supportive. In fact - one of our top priorities is that you are comfortable on the table - we leave you with a call button so you can ask a question anytime!

Still have questions? Book a free consult and we're happy to walk you through it to see if Acupuncture is right for you!

2026? Hallelujah! Happy New Year!

I love that this year started with a steady cleansing wash from the heavens above!

What does 2026 have in store for you?

Over the years, I have perhaps thought too much about New Year's Resolutions as a form of self betterment. These days, I am much more focused on compassion + kindness as 1) Recognition of the absurdness and magic of being a human on a rock hurtling through space, 2) A form of deep nervous system nourishment + regulation. From this place of reprieve, energized action follows easily!

This concept is mirrored quite neatly in the transition from the Year of the Snake into the Year of the Horse (2026) marking a powerful shift from inward gestation to outward movement. The Snake is associated with deep listening, strategy, refinement, + subtle transformation: change that happens quietly beneath the surface.

The Horse, by contrast, is yang, fiery, fast, + expressive. It brings momentum, visibility, + the courage to act on what has been forming. Cosmologically, this transition invites us to take the insights cultivated during the Snake phase + move them into the world, with vitality, clarity, + direction. What has been composting internally is now ready to circulate, speak, travel, + take form.

However!! If you are operating at a deficit, if you have been pulling on your energetic credit card for too long, you can not skip this most important and powerful step of turning inward + gathering your vision and power. There is no better time to do this than Winter… right now. The Horse thrives on freedom + free flowing energy, but longevity comes from remembering when + how to return home.

We can't wait to see you soon.
