Prep shouldn’t break your body or ruin your love for the sport. Period.
I see too many competitors completely burnt out and physically broken down because of negligent coaching. Pushing harder isn’t always the answer, pushing smarter for your specific division’s criteria is.
If your coach isn’t consistently adjusting your programming based on your biofeedback and data, they aren’t paying attention. A cookie-cutter, static plan isn’t holding you accountable; it’s setting you up for failure. You need a dynamic approach to nutrition and training that actually builds a better, more balanced physique, not just a smaller one.
A real coach’s job is to educate you, help you grow, and ensure you truly understand the process. Yes, the hard work has to be put in, but it must be targeted and strategic.
If you’re hesitant to step on stage because of the extreme horror stories and crash-dieting you see online, let me change your perspective. Let me educate you for free so you can see firsthand that doing things the right way is worth the time and effort.
