When Mindlessness & Observation Meet
In my last post we discussed how to ground using âmindlessnessâ. Today, I would like to expand.
Quick catch up: mindlessness is entering into nothingness. Just âbeingâ and itâs an important life skill to develop. When you have this discipline in place and life offers up a very hard moment that you donât feel you can handle, mindlessness can ground you. It can calm your heart so that your mind can find rationality and it can set your feet on some solid ground. Find my last post for more!
Letâs go deeper into what mindlessness actually is. We are spiritual (or celestial) beings having a human experience. This makes us two things in one. Our spiritual self is often referred to as our higher self. Itâs the eternal part of us. When this body dies we will return to our spiritual self. It is our home. It is the part of us that has always been and will always be. Though we are having a human experience and our life is consumed with this world, we still are connected to our higher self and all the wisdom and knowledge it holds.
Our intuition is nothing more than tapping into our higher selfâs wisdom and direction. Our higher self is with us in this world and itâs with us on âthe other sideâ in the spiritual realms. There is no time on the other side. The past, present, and future all exist at once. Therefore, our higher self has access to wisdom from our past, present, and future.
When we go into mindlessness we are actually going into our higher self. We are silencing this present world and returning to ourselves. The real us. The true us. This is why mindlessness is so powerful and calming.
We want change in our lives and yet change is so difficult to implement. Habits are hard to break. The brain gets wired for one thing and it does not like to switch gears and learn a new way. The battlefield really is in the mind and going into mindlessness to address change is highly effective!
When we come to an understanding that everything is energy and that energy can be regulated, transmuted, and controlled by us⌠we can move mountains. Thoughts are energy. Words are energy. Emotions are energy. Negative energy is raw energy and raw energy can be refined into positive energy. Just like soil takes in decaying carcasses and turns them over into vital nutrients - we can take any negative energy and turn it over into positive energy. We can take bad and turn it into good. Our higher self has that power. đŞ â¨
Scientists have found that when we observe energy it changes energy. Just like we act differently when we notice we are being observed, so does any and every form of energy! Mindlessness gives us the power and opportunity to transmute energy.
Let me ask you to think about something you are âworking onâ or âtrying to changeâ in your life right now. You want it so badly but it seems there is so much work to be done to obtain it. Day after day we strive to reach it and bring it into our daily practice. Mindlessness and observation is a more productive way to obtain these changes.
Here is how it works:
Instead of looking at what you want with desire and frustration, go into mindlessness. Empty the desires and frustration and enter into nothingness. Observe what you want changed. How does it feel in your body? How does it feel in your emotions? How does it feel being present in your life? Sit and observe it.
Now, what kind of change do you want to see? How do you want it to be different? Put yourself in that new reality. How would it feel in your body if you were already living in the change? How would your emotions feel it? How would your life feel if that was already implemented into your life? Now, sit and observe that.
What if I told you making habitual life changes could be done in an instant? It is a possibility and it all comes down to choosing which energy we put our focus on. The energy of what we hold that we donât want or the energy of what we donât have and want. Where we put our focus determines what we get. If we place our focus on the âworking onâ or âtrying toâ or even just the behavior we are used to that we donât want⌠we are nurturing THAT, watering THAT, and cultivating THAT into our lives. However, if we take our focus off of it and turn the focus onto what we want to be in its place⌠THAT is what we nurture, water, and cultivate into our lives. This is transmuting energy. Refining negative energy in our lifestyle into positive energy.
Every moment of every day we are making decisions on what we will focus on and grow, unknowingly. We have the power to bring self awareness into our every day moments. Self awareness says, âHey! Here is an area ready for us to transmute!â The more we respond and engage our self awareness the more it will work with us and the more we can cultivate a life of healing and peace. What we cultivate within translates to everything and everyone outside of us and impacts them.
We all want peace in our world. We want an end to division, conflict, and war. What if I told you the solution to that problem is by each one of us ending the division, conflict, and war that is within? The battlefield is in each and every one of us and when we calm it and bring peace to it we inadvertently do the same to the world around us.
Now, are you ready to put the cherry on top!?!? đâ¤ď¸â¨ We donât have to wait for the opportunity of self awareness to do this work. We can set an intention each and every day to transmute our negative energy into positive. Letâs stop âworking onâ and âtryingâ. Those words in themselves hold energy that entangles us within the working on and trying and keeps us working and trying. This is the long and drawn out path to change. The shorter, much more rewarding path is intentionally going into mindlessness daily, consistently, observing the old and admit itâs not working and transmuting it by placing ourselves in the new we want as if it already exists. Spending a great deal of time experiencing it, feeling it, and observing how good it feels in as much detail as possible. Then, come out of mindlessness and feeling it in each step. Feel it with eyes open. Feel it as you move through your day. Itâs okay if you loose it. Being gentle with ourselves in these moments and returning to mindlessness to begin again is simply a bicep curl to make us stronger to hold it longer next time. Each bicep curl builds upon the last and THIS is what will make it possible to get to a point where we are able to transmute energy in an instant. â¨đŞâ¨
Bicep curls are a GOOD thing. Remember that and remember gentleness. That combination will change âIâm working onâ and âIâm tryingâ into âI AM!!!â As a matter of fact, letâs change our vocabulary. When we catch ourself saying âIâm working on itâ and âIâm tryingâ letâs flip them into âI AM!!â And live WITHIN the change we want to implement. đżâ¨
