We would like to reassure our patients that we are here for you and we are available to answer your questions and support you during this difficult time.
For your safety and convenience we are offering Telehealth visits. You can have a visit with our clinicians by video and/or by phone. Please call our office at 978-536-0215 to schedule an appointment.
The health and safety of our patients is our top priority at Family Medicine North. We are actively reviewing the CDC updates, as well as local updates. The CDC and local infectious disease specialists have continued to encourage the use of telemedicine visits for patients with flu-like symptoms, which could include fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, and body aches. A telemedicine visit allows us to safely triage a patient to determine if an in person visit is appropriate and safe for the patient and for others.
If you have flu-like symptoms, we would encourage you to schedule a telemedicine visit. If you’re unsure about this, our team of triage nurses is available to speak with you about your symptoms to determine the best way for evaluation. We know that patients are hesitant to come to the office with the current climate. While we are still here for all of your needs, we are able to do telemedicine visits for some non-flu visits as well, so please inquire about this when scheduling.
There have been some questions about insurance coverage for this. Each plan is different. If it is not covered by your plan, the maximum fee you would incur is $60.00.
