Gypsy Rising was born from a desire to empower and uplift our community one yoga class at a time. The vision is to harness the power of the practice to make a meaningful impact in Pekin and beyond. Through a variety of meaningful practices, we hope to help people connect with themselves and awaken to their full possibility. A Gypsy Soul is a person who is full of energy and wants to live life in their own terms. They harness the spirit and rise from within. At Gypsy Rising, we want you to awaken to your own power and possibility. Amanda began practicing yoga in 2011 while living in Marietta, GA and received her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2019 at OM on the River in Peoria, IL. In addition, she has over 400+Hours of Teaching Experience, 4+Hours of CEU credit for Yoga for Seniors and 4.5 Hours of IAYT (Yoga Therapy Credits) and is just getting started. She is a mother, a wife, a yogi and a forever gypsy.

Baby & Mommy Yoga — A Gentle Pop-Up at Gypsy Rising

We’re hosting a special Baby & Mommy Yoga pop-up designed for moms with non-walking littles who are craving:

• Light, intentional movement
• Pelvic floor + deep core reconnect work
• Nervous system support
• Sweet moments bonding with baby
• Real connection with other moms in the same season

This is not about “bouncing back.”
It’s about easing back in.

We’ll move gently. We’ll breathe. We’ll hold our babies. We’ll laugh if they cry. We’ll feed them if they need it. This space is supportive, flexible, and judgment-free.

✨ Please make sure you’ve had your first post-baby checkup and have been cleared for movement.

Quick little heads up, Gypsies 💫

Our Pilates queen Mollie K is out of town, so we’re welcoming Erin Moye to sub! YAY!

Here’s how Sunday will flow:
✨ Vinyasa with Stephanie → 9:00 AM
✨ Intermediate Vinyasa → 11:00 AM (I’m subbing! A couple spots left.)
✨ Mat Pilates (No Heat) → 12:30 PM (spots available)
✨ Hot Pilates → 2:00 PM (no change..WAITLIST ONLY)

Just a small flip-flop to make things smooth. These changes are for this Sunday only.
