Be Ready In & Out of Season
“Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” – 2 Timothy 4:2
The world changed in 2020 with a global shutdown from an unseen threat. We faced sheltering, masks, mandates, business closures, riots, and chaos—America was immobilized by fear. Most of us weren't prepared. The word 'ready” comes from Greek, meaning to stand and be vigilant, like a soldier always prepared.
Timothy was told to “be ready in season and out of season,” always prepared to serve.
Over the past five years, we've learned a great deal about preparation and anticipation.
The U.S. Air Force teaches us to 'Evaluate, Adapt, and Overcome.”
Conditions can change suddenly, so we must stay mission-focused.
Exciting times are ahead!
I believe we are going to see a move of God that the world has never seen that will bring multitudes of people into the House of God, into a right relationship with Him. We also know that persecution is at the back door.
Jesus clearly said,
“The world will hate you because of Me.”
Whether we enter a time of harvest and abundance, or we encounter the weight of ungodly persecution, we must be ready in and out of season.
September is going to be a month of EXPECTATION and FIRE! Expect the shift, expect the miracle, expect the breakthrough.
We have suffered, we have grieved, we have embraced the losses, but we’ve gotten stronger, more wise, we’ve developed courage and BOLDNESS that only TRUTH can tame, and we have one another.
We are all in this together, and it is our mission-ready focus to be quick to serve, eager to pray, willing to fast, built to STAND, consistent in intercession, always in His love, and ready in and out of season.
