Attention Local Nevada County Yogis!!!
I’m so excited to announce I will begin offering eight weekly outdoor in-person yoga classes in Penn Valley beginning tomorrow Monday, August 2nd. And all classes are FREE the first week. After that, classes will be offered by donation. Come on out an enjoy practicing under the shade of the oaks and pines in a serene rural setting in western Penn Valley (just 15 minutes from downtown Grass Valley). Carpooling is encouraged. Social distancing is encouraged. Masks are not required.
Completion of a waiver of liability will be required prior to attending your first session.
Classes are FREE the first week through August 8th!! Subsequently classes are by donation via cash at the door or PayPal or Venmo. Recommended donation of $10 per 1hr+ classes, $5 for 30 min meditation sessions. No one turned away for lack of funds.
CLASS SCHEDULE
Mon PM: 7:00–8:15pm – Gentle Flow
A slow-paced flow class with a focus on breath and alignment. Students will be offered variations to work at their own level. (Suitable for all levels.)
Tue AM: 7:30–8:30am – Moderate Flow w/ a Touch of Ta**ra
This isn’t your traditional flow class structured around repetitive sun salutations. We will move through a unique series of poses each class with an emphasis on layering movement, breath and sound. Each class will be focused on a specific theme adapted to the students present. (Suitable for beginners with knowledge of the basic poses, as well as more experienced practitioners.)
Tue AM: 8:30–9:00 – Morning Meditation (Immediately follows flow class. Suitable for all.)
Wed PM: 7:00–8:15pm – Intro to Ta**ra (A gentle flow class layering movement, breathwork and sound. Suitable for all levels.)
Thurs AM: 7:30–8:30 – Moderate Flow w/ a Touch of Ta**ra

Friday PM: 7:00–8:15 – Yin/Restorative
A slower paced class with longer holds to promote deep release and relaxation.
Sun PM: 7:00–8:15 – Partner Yoga
My favorite way to practice. Practicing with a partner adds a whole new dimension to yoga. A partner can serve as a support to make a pose more accessible; provide stability; bring you deeper into a pose to obtain greater benefit; and provide the opportunity to practice communication and connection skills. Bring your own partner or make a new friend (for those who are fully vaccinated and free from COVID symptoms/exposure).
