✨ Our December Babies ✨

We’re so honored to share the sweet babies who joined us in December at Wild Rose. Each birth so unique, so sacred, and so beautiful.

🤍 Maya
First up is sweet Maya. Her mama, a first-time mama, welcomed her quietly and calmly, breathing her down and out with dad right by her side. She was so gentle and peaceful in her pushing that Midwives Meagan and Sheradia didn’t even realize she was pushing—birth unfolding just as it was meant to.

🤍 Levi
Next is baby Levi, born to another beautiful set of first-time parents. His mama listened closely to her body and trusted the process of birth. With lots of movement and intuition, Levi made his way earthside right into his daddy’s hands (with Midwife Meg close by for support, of course). It is always such an honor when fellow medical providers choose out-of-hospital care—trusting natural pregnancy, birth, and postpartum so deeply.

🤍 Jack
Then came Jack—baby number six for this incredible mama. Jack came in hot, straight into his dad’s hands, while his big sisters watched in awe. A powerful, love-filled birth surrounded by family.

🤍 Legend
And lastly, sweet Legend. This little guy couldn’t wait for his due date and decided to arrive just before the start of 2026. As a second-time mama, she trusted her body, surrendered to the process, and experienced her very first home birth—what a beautiful way to close the year.

December, you were full of magic. We are endlessly grateful to the families who trusted us with these sacred moments. Welcome earthside, little ones 🤍✨

When Midwife Meagan was dreaming up Wild Rose, one of her biggest hopes was to create a space where families could find whole-body care—beautiful, holistic support all under one roof.

We know how important it is to feel supported, nurtured, and truly cared for during pregnancy and postpartum. Having easy access to trusted providers makes the journey smoother, gentler, and more grounding as you find your way back to yourself.

At Wild Rose, we’re grateful to offer holistic services like chiropractic care, massage, and acupuncture—with even more coming soon. And one of the sweetest blessings of all is having lactation support close by.

We’re so excited to have our very own Wild Rose mama and Certified Lactation Conselor right here in the building (schedule varies). She meets families during appointments, introduces herself, answers questions, and helps schedule one-on-one support when it’s needed most.

Today, Midwife Meg and Caitlen owner of met up during a tender 4-day postpartum visit to check in on one of our mamas and her sweet baby boy—these are the moments that remind us why this model of care matters so deeply.

This is what community looks like.
This is what wrap-around care feels like.
And this is Wild Rose. 🌿🤍

✨ Welcome, 2026 ✨

2026 is here, and as we step into this new year, our hearts are still full from all that 2025 held. It was truly nothing short of beautiful.

At Wild Rose, we are endlessly thankful for every way we were able to serve—through our midwifery care, prenatal and postpartum care-only program, our giving boutique, moms groups, community events, and all the quiet, sacred moments in between. Each family, each story, each connection meant more than we can put into words.

We’re so excited to see what 2026 brings and all the new, beautiful moments waiting to unfold. The first eight months of 2026 are already nearly full, with only one or two spots remaining in a few months. If you’re considering out-of-hospital care, we would love for you to come sit, chat, and see if Wild Rose feels like home.

Thank you to every family who trusted us this past year. We are so honored to walk alongside you.
So much love from our Wild Rose team 🤍
Here is our 2025 recap ✨
Slight typo on our transfer slide- we had 10 transfers in all.

The moments right after birth are sacred. ✨
We call this time the Golden Hour—and it’s one of the most beautiful parts of the birth journey.

In those first quiet moments, baby is placed skin-to-skin, heart to heart. No rush. No interruptions. Just warmth, breath, and connection as two new humans meet for the very first time.

💛 For baby, this time helps regulate breathing, heart rate, temperature, and blood sugar. Being held by the one they know best lowers stress, keeps them calm, and supports their natural instincts to find the breast and begin feeding—often on their own.

💛 For the birthing parent, those same moments trigger a powerful release of oxytocin—the hormone of love and bonding. This supports uterine contraction, helps reduce bleeding, encourages milk production, and strengthens that deep, instinctive connection with your baby.

✨ During the Golden Hour, we protect this space:
• Skin-to-skin remains uninterrupted
• Cord clamping is delayed
• We allow baby to stay alert and curious
• Non-urgent tasks can wait

By honoring this hour, we support the natural transition for both parent and baby—calm, connected, and deeply rooted in physiology and love.

Birth doesn’t end when baby arrives.
It continues in these quiet moments…
when bonding begins, feeding unfolds, and families are born. 🤍

The postpartum period is sacred 🤍
Those quiet days after birth, when the world slows and your only job is to rest, heal, and fall in love.

Sweet postpartum visits in the comfort of your own home truly can’t be beat. At Wild Rose, we believe deeply in honoring this season, which is why we talk with our families about the 5-5-5 way of thinking —
✨ 5 days in bed
✨ 5 days on the bed
✨ 5 days near the bed

This gentle rhythm encourages intentional rest, bonding, and healing during those first couple of weeks after birth. It’s a reminder that recovery doesn’t need to be rushed — your body, your heart, and your baby deserve time.

For your first 2–3 postpartum visits, we make every effort to come to you. In your home. In your safe space. During these visits, we check in on both you and your baby, offer newborn procedures available in the state of Florida (if you desire), and hold space for whatever this season looks like for you. Each visit is centered around care, connection, reflection, and reassurance.

In Florida, Licensed Midwives care for both mom and baby for the full first 6 weeks postpartum, and we take that role to heart 🤍

And if you haven’t been in prenatal care with Wild Rose — that’s okay too. We also offer postpartum care only, because every family deserves to feel supported during this tender season.

Rest. Recover. Be held.
We’re honored to walk with you through postpartum 🤍

November was a quiet month here at Wild Rose, and in that stillness we were blessed to help welcome one sweet little girl earthside.

After experiencing a heartbreaking loss in the fall of 2024, God wrapped this family in grace and, in His perfect timing, sent a new little light to love. And in the quiet, chilly hours of a Tuesday morning in November, the Barnes family welcomed their precious girl, Honey, earthside.

Honey slipped into the world peacefully in the water—caught by her mama and daddy—surrounded by her big sisters, her aunt, and Midwives Meagan and Sheradia who stood nearby in reverent silence. A birth so gentle, so intentional, so deeply felt.

Her journey to join us was tender, powerful, and nothing short of holy. We are endlessly grateful to have walked alongside this family as they welcomed their sweet Honey home. 🍯💛

Today was one of those sweet, soul-filling days for your Wild Rose Midwives. ✨

We started the morning with a 37-week home visit for a family eagerly awaiting their surprise baby. Baby #7 will be joining a home full of love sometime this month—on their own perfect timing, of course.

Next, we headed to a bittersweet postpartum visit. This was our final check-in with a beautiful first-time Florida home-birthing family. Midwives Meagan and Sheradia got to serve together at their birth for the very first time the night Miss Scout entered the world, and today felt like a gentle “see you later” after such a sacred experience.

Then we wrapped up the day with a visit to Little Miss Maya, born on Tuesday and already thriving. She’s just days old and gaining weight—something we don’t normally expect this early! These first-time parents are absolutely rocking it.

It’s been a busy week, but goodness… what a blessing it is to end it with growth, laughter, hugs, and tiny snuggles.

Happy Friday from Midwives Meagan & Sheradia — and all of us here at Wild Rose. 🌿✨

At Wild Rose, our hearts are feeling especially full today. 🍂✨
This season has a beautiful way of slowing us down just enough to see all the little miracles around us—the families we get to walk beside, the babies we’ve welcomed earthside, the mamas who trust us with their most sacred moments, and the village that continues to grow with so much love.

We are wishing each of you a day wrapped in warmth…
a day of happy hearts, full bellies, deep laughter, and the kind of thankfulness that lingers long after the dishes are done and the sun sets on this holiday.

From our Wild Rose family to yours—
Happy Thanksgiving.
We love you all, and we are so grateful for this community you’ve helped us build. 🤍🍁
