While I browsed shoes, Marshall stayed completely focused on his “down on place.” No nudges, no fuss—just calm, confident, and fully in the moment. 🏬🐾 Bernie’s first “place” practice out in the world. 🐾🏬

Check out Bernie practicing his place command at At Home, and for a first trip out, he did great!

Was he a little overwhelmed at first? Yep. New store, new smells, new sounds and lots to take in. But Bernie worked through it. He checked in, followed my lead, and chose to go to his place and settle. And that’s huge.

This is real training: not about perfection, but helping dogs navigate big feelings and new environments with confidence and trust.

🌟 Meet Marshall the 7-month-old Golden Retriever

Marshall is here to sharpen his skills and polish up those puppy manners. Adolescence is where training really counts, and this stage is all about turning potential into reliability.

We’ll be strengthening his obedience, improving impulse control, and helping him learn how to make better choices in exciting, distracting, real-life situations. The goal? A dog who not only knows the skills but can use them in the real world.

🗻 Meet Bernie the 7-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog

Bernie is our gentle giant in the making and he’s here to work on manners and confidence. As puppies grow into big adolescent dogs, structure and mindset become everything.

During his board & train, we’ll be helping Bernie build self-assurance, improve how he moves through the world, and develop the life skills he needs to be a calm, well-balanced companion. This is about more than commands- it’s about confidence, clarity, and real-world readiness.

We’re excited to watch this big guy grow. 🐾
