🥗✨ Luna’s Lunch Date Success! ✨🥗

Luna went on a diner outing and she NAILED her manners! 💯 It would’ve been so easy to try and greet everyone passing by or sneak a bite but she stayed calm, focused, and an absolute joy at the table. 🐾💜

Charlie kicked off his final week of training with a coffee shop field trip today…and he nailed it! (Yes, I’m an iced tea person but Charlie didn’t mind the stop.) 🧋☕🐾

Coffee shops are full of real-world distractions; people coming and going, drinks being made, smells in every corner, and even other dogs barking.

Charlie did an awesome job showing off everything he’s learned. He stayed calm, focused, and polite the entire time even when a little dog tried to stir things up. 👏🐶 These are the moments where training really shines, when a dog can stay regulated and make good choices even in a noisy environment.

Rub-a-dub-dub! 🧽💦 Today is cleaning day for the kennel house! We may have one more week with our March class but it’s also spring break and we’ve got a few dogs coming to hang out with us! ☀️🌸 So before Charlie and Luna come back for their third week of training and our spring breakers arrive, we got to work! 🧹🧺🫧

Lara’s forever family finally found her. ❤️🐾

Our December graduate spent the last few months boarding with us after completing her training, and she absolutely shined. Not only did she do amazing in her own program, she stepped into the role of helper dog by working around and supporting the other dogs going through training while patiently waiting for her turn. 🌟

And that patience paid off.

Lara has officially headed to her forever home in Cali, where she’s already settling in beautifully and soaking up life with her new family. 🏡 We couldn’t be more proud of the dog she’s become.

Watching dogs like Lara grow in confidence, learn their skills, and then step into the life they deserve is why we do what we do. We can’t wait to see all the updates from her new adventures.

Look at Luna go! 🌟🐾

In this video she’s practicing her place command at At Home , and she absolutely nailed it. What we love seeing most is how her confidence keeps growing. The more she practices, the more comfortable and sure of herself she becomes.

“Place” might look simple, but it’s a powerful skill. It teaches dogs how to slow down, settle, and make good choices instead of reacting to everything around them.

Luna is improving every day and we’re proud of this girl. 👏

Luna is quickly learning that one of the best parts of training at Fetch This Canine…is the friends you make along the way. 🐾

Here she is with two Fetch This Canine graduates, Scooby and Cleopatra, and they decided the best game was a three way tug over the same toy. Because apparently sharing means everyone grabs on at once. 😄

These kinds of moments matter more than people realize. Dogs learning to play together, read each other, share space, and have fun in a balanced way is a huge part of building stable, social dogs. Training isn’t just about obedience, it’s about teaching dogs how to exist in the world with confidence and good communication.

Luna held her own with these two and had an absolute blast doing it. Safe to say she’s fitting right in with the crew. 💜🐕

Five girls. Five very different personalities. One very important job. 🐾✨

Meet my crew: Penny, Pearl, Rhia, Yatzi, and Poppy. These girls are a huge part of what makes training here work. 💜🐶

They help our trainees every single day; whether it’s joining training sessions, showing appropriate play, building confidence, or simply helping a new dog learn how to settle in a new environment.

Dogs learn a lot from other balanced dogs, and these girls are incredible teachers.

They help nervous dogs feel safe, energetic dogs learn boundaries, and everyone practice calm behavior in the real world. 🐕🌎

Honestly…I couldn’t do this work without them.

These girls are patient, fair, and very good at their jobs. 🐾✨

Charlie put in the work today! 🐾💪

Before heading home for the weekend, we ran through all of his commands and he crushed it. He’s improving every day, and next week we’ll level up his training and add new challenges. Watching those lightbulb moments happen is the best part. 💡🐶

Our Weekday Board & Train is designed for real-life success for the dogs and their owners. Dogs train with us during the week, then go home on the weekends to practice with their family and just be a dog. 🏡🐕

Owners also get 3 hands-on learning sessions, so you learn a little at a time and build confidence handling your dog. 🎓🐾

Yesterday was Luna’s first day of training and she absolutely crushed it! 🐾✨

We started working on come, sit, place, and down, and she’s picking things up so quickly. 🎉🐶

Something that surprises a lot of people is that we don’t start training with the e-collar. We start with food, guidance, and clear communication so the dog actually learns what the behaviors mean first. 🦴➡️🧠

When dogs understand the game, they gain confidence, learn faster, and feel successful. Accountability only comes after clarity, and that’s how we truly set dogs up to win. 💪🐕✨

Luna is already off to an awesome start and I’m excited to show you her progress over the next few weeks. 👀🐾
