WVU Medicine Grant Memorial Hospital Grant Memorial Hospital is a nonprofit healthcare facility serving a multi-county area with a wide variety of healthcare services.

We strive to deliver quality, compassionate, and innovative healthcare close to home as a member of WVU Medicine. WVU Medicine Grant Memorial Hospital (WVU GMH) originally opened in April 1958 and became a non-profit hospital and part of the WVU Health System in 2023. This critical access facility serves Grant, Hardy, and Pendleton Counties, as well as neighboring counties, in the beautiful Potomac Highlands region of West Virginia. With 25 licensed acute-care beds, this facility is supported by more than 350 employees and a medical staff of over 15. Facilities, services, and programs of the hospital are available to all individuals regardless of race, sex, age, handicap, creed, national origin, color, or ability to pay.

Today, Grant Memorial Hospital employees Ashlee Hedrick, Jaden Redman, Derek Nesselrodt, and Brooklyn Vetter visited Moorefield High School to assist seniors in a resume writing and interview skills class.

The hospital team worked closely with students to strengthen their resumes and practice professional interview techniques. This hands-on experience aimed to help MHS seniors prepare for their future careers, college opportunities, and internships.

WVU Medicine Golisano Children’s was on-site at Grant Memorial Hospital today to provide valuable newborn and pediatric care training. RNs from our Mother Infant Care Center and our Respiratory Therapy team gained new knowledge and hands-on experience practicing lifesaving skills on infant simulators.

We are infinitely thankful for the opportunity to learn from the experienced Golisano Children’s team and to continue strengthening our skills in newborn and pediatric care.
