May 1-31, 2025, Kool Kidney Foundation will be collecting items for dialysis patients. We are collecting items to donate care bags to dialysis centers. These items are essential everyday items to anyone on dialysis. We hope you will consider a donation to our foundation.

Dialysis patients need throw blanks to keep them warm while receiving treatments
Treatments are at a minimum of 4 hours three days a week.

Some items they use to occupy them during treatment are journals, word find/search books, and adult coloring books.

Dialysis patients must maintain a high protein and low sodium diet. They often snack on protein bars and low sodium snacks.

Other essential items dialysis patients use are smart water bottles to monitor fluid intake and compression socks to improve blood flow in the legs, reduce swelling, and prevent deep vein thrombosis that can lead to fluid buildup.
