Hatching out our eggs for some barnyard mix chickens. This color pattern is my favorite so far :)

We will also be raising meat chickens, with a butcher date in May. Let me know if you'd like some locally grown, farm-fresh whole chickens or you can visit https://keelorfamilyranch.com/products/ for more information.

I made some sourdough muffins a bit ago and froze the mini ones for a quick snack when needed. They're a perfect little pick me up when I haven't had the chance to eat! I put oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips in there. Now that we're milking our goats, they pair very nicely :)

Let me know if you'd like the recipe I used.

After seeing zero root formation on my Lemon Lime Philo (now moved back into the sphagnum moss), I decided to check my White Knight Philo for root formation. I'm very pleased to see two root tips growing nicely!! Hopefully the other propagations are rooting as well. I'll make sure the Lemon Lime plant has enough moisture.
I'm glad these guys are growing - it'll give me more reason to buy a few more propagations when I go to Plant Mamas Garden for the plant swap on Feb 22 ;)

Day 7 of hardening off the tomatoes - I didn't realize quite how windy it was and made the mistake of letting them get wind battered for an hour before checking on them. Some minor damage to the lower leaves, but the plants are still ok and they'll recover. I also watered them right before putting them outside, which didn't help the matter. Anyway, they're inside now and I'll pot them up this week, planting them deep, so they won't need those lower leaves anyway. I'll have to give them some wind protection somehow. Any ideas/recommendations?
