โจ Join us for a powerful Kwanzaa learning experience! โจ
On January 2, 2026, Iโll be teaching a culturally rooted program at the library that honors the legacy, values, and spirit of Kwanzaa through the lens of Black heritage and collective empowerment.
Together, we will explore the Nguzo Saba (Seven Principles), engage in storytelling and cultural expression, and reflect on how Kwanzaa connects to healing, identity, and unity within the Black community. Participants will also be introduced to Black American Sign Language (BASL) and its deep cultural significance.
๐ Location:
The Central Childrenโs Department โ Storyhour Room
1901 Vine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103
This event was rescheduled due to weather, and weโre excited to gather in community to begin the new year grounded in purpose, culture, and togetherness.
