We've known for 10 years the super majority (almost all) kids grow out of gender confusion given the APA study in 2014. But you weren't allowed to hear it. The truth was censored and called hate speech. The APA became trans affirming not because the science changed, but because they became ideological and used their influence to peddle lies and harms against children and families. WPATH exposes the fake trans science for what it is. Trans ideology is a form eugenics, sterilizing children.

Dutch researchers tracked more than 2,700 children from age 11 to their mid-20s and every three years asked how they felt about their gender.
At the start, 11% expressed some degree of 'gender non-contentedness.' By age 25, that dropped to only 4%.
As a side note, Dutch clinicians who were responsible for recommending puberty blockers for adolescents in 1998, had warned about "false positives," i.e. those children whose desire to change their birth s*x was a “transient phase” that might pass before they reached 18. To avoid putting those children for whom gender dysphoria was a fleeting stage of adolescence, the Dutch discouraged early social transitioning of minors (such as using the child’s new pronouns and names).
This new Dutch study reaffirms that adolescent confusion over gender is often a passing phase. It is one of the reasons that the American model of rushing children into hormones and surgeries, with permanent consequences, is so irresponsible.
