- Weight Loss Hack - Low Calorie Sauces!

My favorite way to make healthy and low calorie sauces is to use greek yogurt as the base instead of mayo. Mayo is almost 200 cal for 2tbsp, where greek yogurt is more like 25!!! AND it has protein, healthy fats & probiotics - a superstar combo

This weekend I made a yogurt based remoulade that I used to smother an everything baked cod entree and then used it as a base for tuna salad - it was great!!!

Check this Out! 2 tuna salad sandwiches were under 500 calories COMBINED and had over 60g or protein!! - I used 2 cans of tuna, 1/4 cup of the remoulade, 2 martins potato buns, some lettuce & tomato - I had a few carrot sticks on the side and enjoyed!

For the Remoulade:
1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
3 tbsps Pickle (diced)
2 tbsps Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
1 tbsp Dried Parsley
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Want to Lose Weight BUT You're Busy & Hungry!?

For me a key to successful weight loss is finding foods that make me feel full. And smoothies don't make me full.

A quick and easy tip is to add a 1/2 cup or a cup of oats to you smoothie to make a protein oats on the go that helps you lose weight, tastes great and is quick & easy!

The oats really add some bulk to make sure you're not craving a snack 30 minutes later and they add some protein, support gut health and satiety.

Tiramisu Protein Overnight Oats

Tasted like dessert, fueled my body like a super food!!

Don't underestimate how useful overnight oats can be. A great breakfast, dessert or afternoon snack like I had today.

Using some leftover coffee in the morning, mixed with chocolate protein powder, water and chia seeds as the base. I topped it with some Greek yogurt, dusted with more protein powder and a few dark chocolate chips!

Over 30 grams of protein, tons of fiber, healthy fats and probiotics, this really is a GREAT dish.

Life is Gonna Throw a Wrench in Your Plans!

But how do you stay on track with your health and weight loss when these disruptions happen??

Woke up this morning to a flat tire, that sucks!
BUT it's how you handle adversity that determines your level of success, no matter what your goals are.

When it comes to staying on track with weight loss, there's a few things that help me and my clients.

1) Clear Direction and Plans - it's much easier to get back on track when you have a defined path to success

2) Accountability - my clients knowing that I'm going to be checking in on them during our weekly coaching calls helps motivate them to stick with the plan, even when life throws a wrench in plans

3) Support - having a community of guys on the same journey and path is key to success. DO NOT underestimate the power of community. I have a small private community in my program where we support each other.

So, stay motivated guys!
