Since they started preschool I sent them out into the world with two sentences to hold on to…
1. Be the version of yourself.
2. Make yourself proud!

is a wild ride. You have to hold on to them so tight while constantly having to let them go. WTF!

On one hand it’s so crazy how fast it goes. On the other hand every single day I’m in awe of them and grateful to be able to watch them walk through the world.

It’s the end of an era! Thank you so much Elementary School! You’ve been too good to us…Middle school here he comes!

You’re taking care of enough postpartum, you should NOT be taking care of the needs of those visiting you! Let’s normalize telling family and friends that new parent exhaustion is REAL and to get the HELL OUT! Limit not only the length of a visit but how many and who you want to visit… if anyone! Birthing parents deserve to be cared for as much as new babies. I promise this is true!

To all the parents of children that they hold in their hearts and not in their arms you are not alone. Our babies are with all of us. We are the the knowers of “and”! We laugh and love through tears. We keep walking forward. Some days are better than others. Some wounds heal but never go away. PLEASE know o am one of you AND stand with you. You are all warriors, survivors, dreamers, AND mothers!

**ATTENTION ALL CHEST FEEDING PARENTS!!**
Stop what you’re doing and drink some water! All the time and ESPECIALLY in the summer months make sure you’re staying hydrated! 13 glasses of water minimum. It sounds way but we all forget so stop reading this and go drink some water! 💦 😜💦
