I'm Alicia, Founder, and CEO of Relentless Healthcare Performance Advisors and The Expert on Medical Assistants. Allow me to be the first to say that it was not easy to survive over two decades as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. However, out of my time as a CCMA, the experiences I have encountered thrived me into serving in all areas of the Hospital and Ambulatory Care Settings, functioning in Clinical, Administrative, and Leadership roles. I am dedicated to the relentless pursuit of excellence for all healthcare providers, hospitals, and home care agency settings. Delivering superior and innovative solutions for creating optimal patient experiences by creating a unique onboarding. Early in my career, I realized the lack of standardized practices and competencies for Medical Assistants and educational training and career advancement. Because of this, I dedicated my 17-year Healthcare career to being the voice for Medical Assistants. In 2018, I created and implemented an Onboarding Program for Medical Assistants while functioning in a healthcare management role. As a result, I was recognized by one of Philadelphia's local hospitals and implemented throughout 17 ambulatory outpatient practices. My ongoing mission is to use my platform to change the narrative in the Healthcare Industry for Medical Assistants and provide leadership in career advancement. I have spent years developing clinical and procedural skills while building professional developmental skills. Perfecting those skills led me to coach and mentor other career-driven Medical Assistants in the healthcare industry. As a professional development educator, I coach medical assistants to discover their niche, find their voice & leveling up their careers. Being The MA Expert, my mission is to empower, motivate, and educate MAs to understand their value by building confidence first in themselves & second within their careers while facing challenges within the healthcare industry. As a result, MAs seek assistance from me to help redesign their performance in a specific skill and monetize on their years of experience and become MA bosses. As an educator, coach, and mentor, I have helped other Medical Assistants advance their careers to the next level. Some Medical Assistants ventured off to opening businesses for themselves, and some have moved on to different positions in the Healthcare Field. Areas include population health specialists, multi-site operation management, regional healthcare management, registered nursing, radiology techs, etc. In addition, these MAs have learned tools that are required for personal and professional development.
