We would like to thank .r.i.c for being our longest community partner.

Every Saturday for the last four years has worked with and held space for men suffering from Bullet Related Injuries and other forms of trauma. They also always love when we bring merch.

Thank you to everybody that came out and supported us, and thank you to anyone who helped out on Giving Tuesday. We spent time together sharing a Kamayan feast at The Fattened Caf, building community, and supporting the work of The Village Path.

To everyone who made it out — thank you for showing up with love and presence. And to those who couldn’t join us, we felt your support all the same.

A special thank you to our partners for walking beside us and helping make this night possible. Your support strengthens the work we do year-round.

Thank you for being part of this community and supporting The Village Path. 🫶🏾✨

Last night we had our monthly Healing and Writing Circle, and as promised, we included some healing through art using air clay. That meant a room full of Black men doing arts and crafts, which brought out emotions, honesty, and real moments of joy.

As we shaped the clay, many of us realized how long it had been since we simply played and since we tapped back into the feelings we had before we became men with responsibilities and pressure.

guided us through the process. Using the clay and prompts, we shaped, we shared, and we talked about what our pieces symbolized. We laughed, we acknowledged the ups and downs, and it genuinely felt like community.

Air-dry clay is a cheap activity to do and it helps cut stress, gives a non-verbal way to express tough feelings, and builds confidence through creating something real.

Our next circle is December 18th with a new activity and a new activation. We hope to see you there! Thanks to everyone who came out

What a night. 🙏🏾

UNMASC 4 reminded us what happens when men feel safe enough to be real — to share, listen, and heal together.

Much love to our partners who made it possible: Freedom Community Center ( ), .r.i.c (Bullet Related Injury Clinic), and the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis

Special thanks to .elizabeth , Alex, Spirit of Angela , our volunteers Gerald, Tasha and Arrin, , and our amazing Village Path board members — your heart and energy carried this night.

If you were in the room, we’d love to hear from you. What moment stuck with you? What did you capture or take away? Drop your thoughts below or tag your posts with so we can keep the energy going.

Here’s to more truth, more presence, and more healing together. 🫶🏾

In preparation for Unmasc 4: A Storytelling Event next Saturday on October 18th, we took part in our tradition of creating mask and also used the time together to listen to each other’s stories that will be shared.

The creativity really came out and it’s just a glimpse of what will be experienced as this group shares their stories on experiences, reflections, and unique perspectives with masculinity.

Thank you to for opening up the Healing Room as our Rehearsal Space 🫶🏾

We hope you can join us next Saturday! The event starts at 6pm and the link to the tickets are in the bio 🎟️

Wishing everyone a great school year—especially the young men from Carr Lane VPA Middle School who participated in our ROPE Program (Rites of Passages Empowerment).

Over the course of our time together, we built brotherhood, explored tools to strengthen our mental and physical well-being, learned from incredible guest speakers, went on meaningful field trips, and wrapped it all up with a BBQ celebration!

We are deeply grateful for the support, leadership, and opportunity to pour into our youth. Wishing you all a successful year ahead—and a well-deserved three-day weekend!
