To all my girlies on your weight loss/healthy journey- please do not let the scale be your only evidence of your progress!
•Look in the mirror, get comfortable with your body so that you can see the changes as they occur.
•Pay attention to your clothes , watch for the changes in the waist line, check for the shifts in how much they need to stretch, watch for the shifts in the ease of putting on your clothes
•Acknowledge the shifts in your mood, highlight the moments when you feel good, when you want to get outside, when you feel cute/pretty and want to put that s**t on.
•Celebrate that improvement in your time mile, the increase in weight your able to carry, the shift in your breathing , your improved endurance
•If you only depend on the scale you will miss out on all your wins!
