It’s that time again! The third annual PA Massage Championship is ready to take registrations!

When: April 18-19, 2026
Where: Pottstown, PA at the Academy of Massage Therapy & Bodyworks
Cost: $100 for one category, $175 for two categories
Why: To learn, grow, and network with incredible PA (and beyond) LMTs who share the same ideas of camaraderie, fun, and career development.

Our PA Massage Championship Director, is heading off to camp US Massage Camp! If you’re interested in judging, competing, or just want to be around amazing therapist, this event is for you!

AMC Head Judge Adds USMC Head Judge To Accomplishments!!

Jim Funk has been doing massage for 33 years and has taught for the last 30. He has owned a spa and salon in Lansdale, PA since 1999 and a massage school in Pottstown, PA since 2006.

He founded Forearm Fusion continuing education almost 10 years ago and has taught classes across the United States. Jim’s passionate about bringing students and therapists together and making massage easy, fun, and accessible.

Jim has been a judge at the American Massage Championship since its beginning and has judged multiple state competitions. He also hosts the Pennsylvania Massage Championship which will hold its third event in April 2026. In 2019, he was inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame.
