We came across Julia's YouTube channel, where she shares her life as a Philadelphia-based flight attendant who flies all over the world.

Julia was born and raised in Las Vegas and attended the University of Denver, where she was an NCAA Division 1 All-American Gymnast.

She has lived in a few places around the country, but decided recently to move back to the Philadelphia area as her base with her boyfriend - who played soccer at the University of Denver.

She's such an impressive young woman, a dog lover and workout enthusiast who shares it all on her YouTube channel, also named "Jetting Julia."

I'm so lucky to have my 83-year-old dad (and mom) in my life.

My dad asks me every day if he can come help me with anything for my business.

Then he comes over, I explain what we need to do, and he complains because it's a tedious task. 😂😂😂 he literally said- "wow- that looks like a pain in the ass!" 😂😂😂

Yeah! It is... 😂 It's tedious - that's why I need help with it ... so it can go faster!!

So we sat and packed orders for a few hours and talked about everything under the sun. The family, my kids, all the grandkids, my mom, his upcoming knee surgery, how much we can't stand listening to political talk anymore, how I'm trying to grow my business, and other topics I can't even remember... I love this time with him so much ❤️❤️❤️ He loves it, too.

Before I created Shavestix in 2020, I spent my entire career as a writer and editor for newspapers, magazines and in corporate marketing. I often joked that it was the only thing I knew how to do.

That was until I had to teach myself how to create a product, package it, sell it, build a website, source ingredients and materials, produce it, scale it and ship it on pallets to far away warehouses. Then I had to learn how to create a mini-TV studio in my house (which takes a surprising amount of lighting) and pitch it on TV. And that was just the first year!

Sulfates (or sulphates)

Sulfates are Foaming Agents that are known to cause
• Dry skin
• Rashes
• Dermatitis
• Impaired hair growth
BHT
Most foam shaving creams contain Butylated Hydroxytoluene which can cause skin, eye, and lung irritation plus hormone disruption. This chemical was rated among the most toxic chemicals by the Federal Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry in 1992.
Isopentane
Shaving creams often contain this solvent that helps some ingredients to dissolve into others and can cause dry skin, dizziness, headaches, dermatitis, and nose and throat irritation.
Palmitic Acid
Used as an emulsifier to keep shaving cream formulas mixed evenly, this ingredient has been shown to cause dermatitis.
Harmful to the Environment
The number of shaves you can expect from a typical can is far less than the number of years it takes to breakdown an aerosol can. There are billions of discarded aerosol cans throughout the world filling up landfills. Because of the many chemicals found in shaving products, they can’t dissolve in the ocean, making them an eco-hazard. Avoiding using shaving products means fewer cans and fewer carcinogens in the land, the air, and your home.
