I used to wonder why people don’t post pregnancy pictures while they are pregnant and rather wait til after delivery…

With my first child, I posted a couple of pregnancy pictures and my dad kept telling me to stop doing that. Being the stubborn child I’ve always been, I continued anyway 😂.

I learnt my lesson the hard way… to be honest, that delivery was hard and complicated. My epidural paralyzed one of my legs so pushing was extremely difficult.
Alana spent 2 days in NICU because she wasn’t breathing and came out blue due to cord strangulation.

The witches and wizards were working overtime y’all 😂 but the God I serve wasn’t having it! God came through for me and saved my daughter. Prayer is key but in addition to that, you gotta do your part and don’t give the devil (and his workers) unnecessary access to your life. I learnt this as I got older.

My second delivery was painful (no epidural) but free of complications and my recovery was AMAZING!! The pregnancy itself had a few complications and hospital admissions due to hyperemesis but I endured it with help from the Almighty.

I’m posting this but in reality I’m sleep deprived, tired and in bed breastfeeding my new born.
Also my hair is undone and in a complete mess. Instagram gives you the power to show the world what you want to show, not what is actually going on so stop trying to figure out people’s lives from their Instagram posts!

And yes I had a baby a week ago, yes I’ve been pregnant for the last 9 months….and no you didn’t know…now arrest me 😂
