March 26th-29th Dr. Zlotolow heads a team of Surgeons to Havana, Cuba to train Cuban Doctors on new techniques in Nerve Surgery and Wrist Arthroscopy. Orville recently underwent nerve transfer surgery for Acute Flaccid Myelitis by Drs. Dan Zlotolow and Scott Kozin at the Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia. He is one of 20 such cases performed by the surgical team in Philadelphia and one of approximately 50 such cases nationwide. https://kstp.com

Acute Flaccid Myelitis has now affected 2 children in Fredericksburg, VA . Both children may benefit from nerve transfers and are schedule for evaluation at the Shriners Hospital of Philadelphia.
