Sacred Sunday…

I am currently working with a client who is recovering from a stroke. Leg pains keep him up half the night and I help relieve them by utilizing my favorite skill. Touch (massage). Gentle sandwiching compression up and down his legs until he drifts back off to sleep.

When I was working in the hospital my coworkers would often say, “you are spoiling the patients.” I understood that this kind of treatment is the enemy of corporate work-flow, but I could not help myself because I knew in my heart it was healing to patients and they would’t need as many medications.

It is such a blessing to be able to practice in a manner that brings me so much satisfaction. To be able to use all my skills to serve the highest good for one patient and family at a time.

On this Sunday, I share my gratitude for being part of someone’s come-back story.

My heart is full.
