Kiln Disaster Update No. 2 - How to help!
It’s been a little over a week since our primary kiln was destroyed and a lot of folks have been asking how to help. We are not accepting donations but right now if you want to support out studio you can -
* Share our story (like / comment / share)
* Purchase a Mystery Box (they come from on-hand stock, so we don’t need a kiln to make more)
* Make a regular purchase and have patience (our lead times will be extended for the next several weeks but we will be back online soon).

What else is new? Last week we shared that the kiln company was going to be here this week to get our small kiln up and running, unfortunately they have been delayed but the kiln should be back up an running by the end of next week, it’s a bummer but we’ll take what we can get!
Furthermore, we spoke with the kiln company and it looks like lead times for replacement are about 7-8 months, a lot better than when we bought the kiln (back then it was over 12 months) so that’s good news!
Finally, we have begun the insurance claim process, I expect it will be weeks before we know much but we are hopeful that our insurance company will cover the cost of a replacement and we are pushing to get revenue loss covered as well. Fingers crossed!
