Celebrating another wonderful year with WCR, filled with friendship, laughter, good food, and a little karaoke! This year’s holiday gathering at the Pennsylvania Barge Club was especially meaningful as we honored Dale and celebrated her retirement. Her dedication, encouragement, and impact on this community have shaped WCR in lasting ways, and we are so grateful for everything Dale has given to all of us. Thank you Dale! We will be sure to see you on the river!

Looking forward to 2026 and all that it will bring!

We should ALL support this challenge, but particularly our racers who would not have the amazing racing opportunities they have without SRN. Money raised through the Pink the Boathouse Challenge row survivor rowing around the world, AND will benefit WeCanRow Philadelphia here at home. WBC Annual Head of the Pumpkin Regatta 2025! A great fun filled day featuring 500M races competing for bragging rights of being first to cross the line -and plenty of halloween candy awaited the winners!

Food, fun, camaraderie and costumes! Kevin took most funniest with “Mr Excuse” 😆
We had the 80s duo Kathy and Debbie for team winners.

More costume fun.. a bow ball, “Coach Art Post Malone”, a hog, a unicorn, Wednesday, skeletons, ninja, a flower, a Jedi and of course Pope Paul, and more!

Thanks to Coach Susan for all her help with setting the lineups and coordinating the racers. We couldn’t do it without you!

RACE DAY!! 🚣‍♀️🔥
We hit the water at 3:43 PM – we’re Bow 1, and we’re ready!

Yesterday was full and powerful. We kicked things off with the Survivor Rowing Network group photo, followed by brunch and connecting with fellow survivors 💪. Then it was time for practice, complete with some classic Charles River winds.

We capped off the day with a reception at the Irish Consulate, thank you to Declan for the linvite and support!!

Let’s go!!

The Survivor 8 is rolling out of Philly - trading cheesesteaks for chowder - and headed straight for the Charles.

We’re ready to row hard, connect with our fellow survivors, and soak up every second of this iconic weekend.

SRN Winter Training Camp with Holly Metcalf – Registration Opens Noon ET 10/11/25

We are thrilled to announce the Second Survivor Rowing Network Winter Training Camp!
Dates: January 23–26, 2026
Location: Vero Beach, Florida
Head Coach: Holly Metcalf
Camp Overview: This camp is designed specifically for experienced sweep rowers.
Eligibility Requirements:
Registration Opens:
To ensure a safe and productive experience, all campers must meet the following criteria:
1. Experience rowing a 5K race or equivalent distance
2. Stamina and endurance for two on-water sessions per day (each over two hours)
3. Ability to assist in carrying an 8+ shell
Registration Info:
• Opens: Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 12:00 noon EST

• Spots Available: First 24 eligible registrants will be accepted
• A waitlist will be started once the camp is full.
