A throwback to 2016 in OCNJ .. only a few years into our relationship .. that trend really got me 😮‍💨🥲 I can’t believe how far we’ve come, how much we’ve accomplished and all that is ahead. Making the most of this winter but I’m ready for sunshine and warmth!

Post partum moms: take that shower, get that hair cut, change clothes and give yourself copious amounts of grace.. this is a short season of adjustment and the smallest things give me a sense of well being these days ♥️

🎄Our first holiday season as a family of 4 and this feels so surreal .. I still can’t believe it.

Did we put the Christmas tree up and start rocking our cozy Christmas jammies over a month ago? Yes, and I’m not mad about it. I used to really not like winter … but since having kids, every season is so fun .. winter is one of my favorites now ♥️

3 weeks post partum 🫠♥️🥹 What was the hardest part about going from 1 to 2 for you? I genuinely think my biggest struggle this post partum has been the amount of NO’s I’ve given my son in the span of just 3 weeks. I’ve had to say no to simple things that were always a yes before.. I feel guilty but he holds such patience for us. I know this stage goes so quickly but day to day, it feels sort of sad to me 🤷🏼‍♀️ pushing to make him feel special every day in small ways while still taking care of myself & Odessa dianne 🫧

Not one dream I’ve ever had has been silly to you.. it’s always been a yes, let’s do it ♥️ we’ve done some amazing things together over the past 12 years but this is by far the greatest dream you’ve ever made come true.. my beautiful children, our beautiful home and giving me the ability to stay with them everyday ♥️ I love you!

I am in awe .. welcome to the world Odessa Dianne 🫧 & happy 4th birthday to the most amazing child, Icarus Sol.

Our birth was beautiful but scary .. she is healthy, sweet, calm and perfect.

I am soaking up every bit of these fleeting first few weeks.. with my son, my daughter and the man who gave us everything we could ask for and so much more.

Scattered update at just about 41 weeks! 😅

I am having very similar feelings to my first baby .. I am 5cm dilated .. 80-90% effaced but feeling generally good with no painful contractions. Hoping it goes as efficiently as my first- my water broke, I got to the birth center and was 7cm dilated - labored for under an hour and pushed for 6 minutes. It was fast.. a little overwhelming for my first time (everyone said it would be slow and steady) but also the coolest experience of my entire life. At the end of the day .. I just want to hold a healthy, beautiful baby in my arms ♥️ wish me luck!

About 6 weeks until our little girl arrives ♥️🌞🍂 my autumn babies ♥️ I’d say we have another 2ish weeks of 70-80F days until those super crispy days arrive!
