Winter may not be a “productive” time on the farm, but it sure is beautiful. I was slipping and sliding all over the icy field, but I was pleasantly surprised to see our frost cloth intact after a windy and snowy few days. 💪

After a season of Marigolds that just would not quit, we created a limited run of these very sweet Marigold Dye Kits :) The kit includes dried Marigold blooms, an organic cotton banana (pre-treated so that’s ready for dye), and an instructional booklet to walk you through the basic steps of dyeing. There’s only 6 kits left so if there’s someone on your holiday list that loves textiles or flowers or dyeing or just loves projects, this is the gift for them :)

Should I give her a raise?! Herbal lip balms are fully restocked in our webshop and we’ll have them with us for this Saturdays market at 🌲 I hand make and hand label every balm - the perfect small batch stocking stuffer :)

When thinking about ways to make our offerings as sustainable as possible, I knew we needed to find a “greener” way to display our flowers. And was, as always, up to the task :) If you order a vase arrangement from us, you can rest assured that not only are the flowers seasonal and locally grown, but the vase they arrive in is sustainably and locally made as well. Each vase is created from donated glass that Remark then transforms into a new shape. Not only are they using glass that inevitably does not get recycled by the City of Philadelphia, but they are running an incredible female-owned business that I get to collaborate with :) These vases are available year round in our webshop or snag one when you order fresh flowers next Spring ☀️ And thanks to for the beautiful shots 📸
