Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey toward a healthier you? We’re thrilled to invite everyone—especially beginners—to take part in our **Walking/Jogging Galloway Challenge**! This is your chance to get moving, have fun, and connect with others, all while making strides in your fitness journey.
**What’s the Challenge?**
This isn’t just any fitness challenge; it’s a supportive, engaging way to enjoy the great outdoors (or your favorite indoor space) while using the Galloway method to combine walking and running. Perfect for all fitness levels, this challenge is designed to be enjoyable and rewarding!
**A Special Reminder:**
For those who attended my wellness class at The Sharon Baptist Church WOG (Women of Grace) Conference on 10/31, let’s turn those SMART Goals we discussed into action! Now’s your opportunity to put them to the test in a fun and intentional way.
**Introducing the 21-Day Habit Challenge!**
To help you build and maintain your new habit, we’re kicking off a **21-Day Habit Challenge**! Research shows it takes about 21 days to form a new habit, so let’s commit to moving together for three weeks. The best part? There might even be some prizes along the way to keep you motivated!
**How to Join:**
1. **Set Your SMART Goals:**
- **Specific**: What do you want to achieve? (e.g., walk for 15 minutes a day)
- **Measurable**: Track your progress (e.g., time spent walking or jogging).
- **Achievable**: Start small! (e.g., begin with 5 minutes of walking)
- **Relevant**: Connect your goals to your overall health journey.
- **Time-bound**: Challenge yourself for the next month to keep the momentum going!
2. **Take Your Measurements:**
- Before you start, take your measurements and weigh yourself. This is your baseline to gauge progress. Remember, it’s about how you feel, not just the numbers!
3. **Commit to 21 Days:**
- Aim to walk or jog at least 3-4 times a week for the next 21 days. This consistency will help solidify your new habit and keep you engaged.
4. **Pick Your Location:**
- You decide where you want to walk or jog! Whether it’s your neighborhood, a local park, or a treadmill at home, choose a space that inspires you.
5. **Meetups:**
- For those interested in connecting, I’ll be hosting some meetups! This is for **women only**, so if you want to join, just DM me for details. It’s a fantastic opportunity to bond, share experiences, and motivate one another!
6. **Check-In & Share:**
- After your sessions, share your journey in the comments or post using . Let’s cheer each other on! And remember, there might be some exciting prizes for participation and progress—you never know what could be waiting for you!
7. **Reward Yourself:**
