Watching mentees grow into confident leaders is exactly why I built this mentorship program. Helping estheticians move beyond memorized protocols into true clinical thinking is always the goal. It’s the only way an esthetician can be prepared to customize services based on the clients needs - their ethnicity, age, gender identity, and religious preference.
Seeing step into the Lead Esthetician role at Glowbar Bryn Maur is a proud full-circle moment for me.
This last group of students also taught me that mentorship requires deep commitment on both sides. After investing time into trainees who didn’t honor their agreement or weren’t fully prepared to complete the process, I’ve made the decision to step back on offering the mentorship program. I’ll still offer one-on-one training, but I need to vet applicants much more intentionally for the long-term program.
This industry deserves estheticians who are invested in mastery, ethics, and long-term growth — not just a money grab for a quick dollar, and I’m so proud to help my mentees embody that.
